I haven't read the manga, but I did watch several drama versions. How did Yiyung/Gaeul 's story end in the manga?…
Yiyung never gets over his ex and he and Gaeul spent the night together but remain as friends. It's seems that will happen here as they're following the manga.
Of cours their are a few exceptions but usually and the ones I tried watching recently, are quite one dimensional and honestly speaking, bland. They're nice and that's it. The Male leads from Start up and Brahams for example. It's no wurprise that in the Start up the 2nd ML is more popular. For me they're not very entertaining or thrilling to watch, which is why I prefer and miss traumatised ML, Jerks who turn soft for their girl or ML who are a mix of the two. No one is perfect 24/7 or constantly happ and I say that as a positive, warm and mostly bright girl. But maybe that's exactly why I don't like them, it's seeing myself and I watch Kdrama for spicy drama and not some snooze concerts. The recent Melodramas really took the drama about of K-drama. Miss shows like Innocent Men or Secret.
Usually not really fond of warm MLs, since they're just nice (sometimes bland) and not very complex but the description does make him sound interesting and unpredictable. Imma check it out and hope it will end the ML dryness I'm going through. Thank you.
Sadly a lot are bland, they barley develop and are warm from the beginning to the end. Idk I'm more into cold or flawer ML who change and become sweet. It feels more real than being nice 24/7 and never getting angry :/
It's not about being a little sweeter, part of the original ML's charm was slowly seeing the cold asshole turn…
I see your point but I think they could've still shown him as 'cold'for the first few eps then in let's say ep 5, show him smiling at her. That would've delivered the original feeling. 24 eps is a lot of time, had they reduced some scenes it would've been less fast paced.
I do not believe that people are really complaining about the protagonist being a little sweeter, we are already…
It's not about being a little sweeter, part of the original ML's charm was slowly seeing the cold asshole turn soft for his girl and realising he has to change. If that's taken away the story falls flat.
Well characters like him are sadly dying out, for me they were more interesting and charming to explore in fiction (not real life) compared to the sunny ML's nowadays, since we actually saw them change and develop.
Hm yeah but he still could've been 'colder' for the first few eps, then slowly develop a softer side as he was supposed to. 24 eps are a lot and more than the c drama had (albeit with less time) but that's just my opinion.
Imma be honest the ML is too affectionate for me. He was supposed to be a D and that was his charm when he suddenly became all soft for her and realised he needs to change. I prefer the original.
I can't do this.
