I honestly don't understand the Seojun hype? Like he's sweet but Suho is a far more complex, interesting, flawed and layered character? Perhaps it's just a type thing
if that's true, then I'm glad.. I stopped watching k dramas a few years back due to all the long dragged out misunderstandings.…
Listen. I'm not here to pick a fight, like I said it's cute but I just miss firm dramas where it takes 10 eps for them to actually like each other, where there's drama and an interesting ML.
If you think this story brings something new on the table then good for you, it doesn't for me. It's the same drama without uknow actual drama. For me it's understanding why a lot of romance aren't doing as well as they did years ago (ratings wise).
i heard the director did said that this drama is the soft version from the original
Yeah definitely the opposite. I'm tired of warm wishy washy male leads who are flawless and bland and stories where they fall for each other in the first few eps. Where's the fun and thrill in that when nothing ever happens and everything is picture perfect resolved. It's called K-drama for a reason.

For me it's the same way with all those bland dramas lately, I know what will happen when I see the synopsis, it's not like they're innovative or create smth new. It's the same, minus the drama aspects, misunderstandings, conflicts and an interesting male lead. When you watch the first and the last ep, you know the whole plot.

It's thrilling and entertaining otherwise what's there to watch if nothing happens? And they like each other in the first 5 eps.
I'm not even bashing this drama. It's cute. I was just speaking generally. Romance dramas nowadays basically have no conflicts and if they get resolved in 2 mins, which is why a lot are bland without any spice.
I know it all comes down to preference, I honestly aspire liking fluffy dramas like those but can't. The last one I finished was Cloy lol
Isn't it the opposite? Majority of them will stretch a misunderstanding for no reason at all other than creating…
Most recent romance dramas don't. Nowadays a lot are anti-climatic, have no misunderstanding, drama or jealousy. The 2nd ML is often paired up with the 2nd FL and the ML is .. well .. bland. In Run On it's better but Do you like Brahams, More than friends, A love so beautiful (remake), Bogum's new drama were all so boring to me but Secret and Nice Guy are my favorite drama so it might explain a lot.

Edit: aww man k-dramas are really a miss for me either they are interesting with no romance or bland, anti - climatic with romance. pick a struggle.
