Even the detective? Sure, some of her actions seem to be questionable (ie "old man"'s phone), but I think her…
Hm, you could question her motives as well, did she want to bust the sex workers because it's unethical or because she wanted something out of it? Although I have to say that I agree with you, she seemed to genuinely care about Minhee and that she wanted to get to the bottom of this to help these kids.

I like the first episode but couldn't decide to watch it or not. I don't want to see male lead as a loser. Did…
The female lead takes advantage of him quite a lot, if that's a deal breaker for you - I suggest that you don't watch it.

Is this any good??? Added it on my list on netflix but idk if it's worth it
Hm, it's hard to say I checked your watchlist and I feel like if you were to watch this be prepared that it's a lot darker than the dramas you've watched! It's good in my opinion, but if you don't like being stressed or seeing dark stuff - Don't watch this.

What the fuck ? How can one be so careless and naive doing that sort of job? And just because she is a girl the…
Well, first and foremost: He's no criminal mastermind. Although the series first paints him out to be this calculative guy this just seems to be a part of the facade he brings up to make himself deal with the crimes he commits. Also one very important point to recognize: He's a kid and kids do stupid things all the time, he just had more power and more to loose if he fucked up, it still won't make the fact that he's a kid go away.

Well, that's your opinion, I can't say that I agree. I felt sympathy for her actions but I feel like that wasn't the point of the drama

Ah, he held a soft spot for me as well! I seem to have a thing for enjoying a good bad guy although I doubt there is as much of them out there in the real world as I'd like it to be.

The acting was great, but I didn't expect anything less from these actors and actresses and I hope that they will continue to be involved in interesting projects like this one.

I really enjoyed the whole show. While I can see why people might find the FL annoying (and she is, particularly…
Couldn't agree with you more, it was interesting to see how Gyuri defended her own morally discussable actions and made me see her in a different light from what I did during the first couple of episodes. I felt compelled to feel for these characters even though they did some stuff that I don't agree with, I guess this is just another point of showing the complexity of 'Right and Wrong'.

Ah, I believe you shouldn't take it too seriously, there's always gonna be individuals that don't appreciate things you love and enjoy, as sad as it is it's just a part of life.

So for those of you that enjoyed this drama, what was your favorite thing about it? Did you relate to the characters dilemmas or did you just enjoy the messy ride that this was?

Of course, it's hard seeing people disliking an actor or actress for one of their roles. But at the same time: My opinion of a good actress/actor isn't ruling, it's up to each of their own to decide what they like and don't. But after reading the comments on this page I believe that they aren't slandering the actress rather than the character. (Btw; Sorry for my bad grammar, english isn't my first language :/)

To the people who hated the Female Lead Character. Please stop saying that you hated the Female Lead and stop…
Well, I believe that everyone is allowed their own opinions but I can understand your argument. It's easy being angry when reading comments that doesn't agree with something that you've thought a lot about, especially when you feel like they didn't put the time and effort you did into analyzing the different plot points and character development.

I think that it's easy to look at the characters and saying that you hate them due to not agreeing with their actions. I liked the drama very much and the realism of human behavior that was shown by these teens were remarkable, but if you don't like to analyze dramas like these it's easy to brand the characters and move on to something else.

I feel like dramas and discussions like these are important because If we would just be angry and slander each other we would never learn from one another. So instead of being angry you could explain your points of view why the characters acted that way or why he or she isn't shitty.

I can’t say that i agree about anything you posted but of course I respect your opinions! What made you dislike…
Definitely, It's often nice to have someone that feels safe and morally right in a drama!

I really enjoyed it, it's so nice to see someone that can validate points from others views even though our own opinions differentiate! So all the power to you and keep up the good discussions because opinions are never something wrong if done like this!

Thank you for the recommendation, I'm always on the lookout for new thrillers so I'll check it out!

i hope Netflix stops ruining k-dramas for us
Hm, I feel like it's bringing some new and exciting elements to the Korean drama scene. K-dramas often try to fit into this polished world where everything turns out okay in the end, and nothing too dirty (like sex trafficking for an example) ever happens. I feel like it will broaden the censoring that keeps going on and give us some interesting dramas like 'Extracurricular' that probably wouldn't happen without the backing from a major company like Netflix.

Although I can understand your point to a certain degree, to cut up stories into seasons has never been the way of making a Korean drama and seems to fit the moneyhungry American producing market more.

I feel like both types of contents could "live in harmony" so to speak. Just because Netflix makes dramas like 'Extracurricular' doesn't mean that dramas like 'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim' has to disappear.
