Well if you aren't hooked by now, then it's probably just not for you because it seems like most were hooked by…
It usually gets better by episode 5 in my opinion. The setting and tone often changes during the first episodes and I feel like I can't judge it based on the premise of the series. All the characters backstory needs to be brought forward aswell as the show's goal for me to evaluate it properly.
I'm not hooked on the premise, the characters or the acting as of now (3 episodes in) but I wanna give it until episode 6 to decide if I'll continue watching or not
I've never watched a "historical" chinese drama but I've been seeing a lot of posts about this on the feed and grew curious. Is it any good? Is it dubbed?
I'm surprised at how much I enjoy it. I've only given a handfull of dramas a 9 or higher and it's always been dramas like "Life on Mars", "Signal" etc. But this drama feels very good to me, a fresh approach on teenage romance! I love it because it doesn't take itself too seriously!
It's similar due to the fact that the main characters are in a comic, but other than that: not really. Both have romance themes although W felt a bit darker from the start and definitely more melodramatic.
But if you like to watch guys that looks unreal check it out, it has Lee Jong Suk's best outfits ever.
I've been having the same thought during this week's episode aswell! It seems like they make it to easy to figure out so I would hope that it was someone else :ss
