I love this drama. I really don't get the hate because it's funny and romantic, the side characters are also very interesting, the mystery and the crime is well done, there are a few good twists. the leads are all very very likeable, even some antagonist are, the romance is cute and realistic, it has a nice ost, something happens in every episode that's why I don't think this is draggy at all. nothing is left open and it's an very easy watch. JCW and NJH have a very nice chemistry and it's very exciting to see JCW act something different than the martial arts guy he is typecast into. Also: eye candy. I gave it a 10/10 because I really really love this drama, I just rewatched it for the 2nd time.
But the main lead did not do anything wrong tbh. Like sure he is not the nicest person ever but he does not tear…
The typical mean male lead for me is the premise he is based on and the way he is most likely to develop. Baek Bom for me is just that: tragic past that maked him bitter and mean and like I already said, I guess he'll open up to her a little and becomes nicer. Though that's not a bad thing and I really expect that to become true so I can like this. I agree that Eun Sol has made some mistakes but I already mentioned that I like her despite that because the rest of her character I find very pleasing. I am very aware of her faults but she is still a strong chracter until now because she knows what she wants and she is working hard for it, she is learning and accepting critism when she is told it in an normal manner. I also don't think she is "extremely" unprofessional, she did some dumb things yes, but somehow it's always only Baek Bom that explodes. Also, if he found her to be that unprofessional he wouldn't have called for her for the autopsy, but he did because he knows that despite her few mistakes she still does her job very well. I guess, despite their disputes they have somehow developed a mutual trust based on the other ones professionalism, which is very nice and also very professional. :D
However, wether or not Baek Bom is the typical mean male lead or he is a "better character" than Eun Sol, it doesn't change the way he treats people. I can really not agree with you on that part, even if I understand your view on the other things. You don't have to be in university to have people explain things to you. I personally do not have the urge to scream at people just because they sometimes don't get it. There is a reason why no one likes him because it is not only Eun Sol that gets treated like that. He just doesn't care for other peoples feelings and that's what I dislike the most. You can be professional and smarter but you don't have to degrade other people and I think he is doing that permanetly. You cannot go through life and not judge people by their actions because it's not possible. Your actions define your personality. When he treats people like that then that's because he is not patient, doesn't care for others and (in my opinion) views them as unworthy when he doesn't even sees the need to explain things once . It honestly would've been fine if he had done it only one or two times but basically everytime he comes onscreen I just see how he treats other people in a way I wouldn't even imagine.
At the end, you're right. I guess we just have different preferences in personalities. I'm not saying one of these characters is better than the other, I just personally like friendly characters more.

I disagree. While he is extremely professional and that is a good thing, his behaviour towards basically everyone is terrible. Jung Sung Joo also knows his job and while the lead is just screaming at everybody and doesn't see the need to explain things, it is him - Jung Sung Joo - that explains everything in a nice and polite manner. Just like it should be and it is, in fact, much more productive. The lead just treats everybody as dumb and unworthy of his words. When he is not screaming then he treats his surroundings with complete lack of interest and ignorance. He could just say things normally but whenever he opens his mouth he has to degrade the other person first. People make mistakes but in his world everybody has to be perfect every time and I think the female lead is right when she pointed out that he is too used to being around dead people only, that he forgot how to live with the alive ones. The character development he is very likely to go through is however very typical mean male lead. Just the fact that his behaviour probably originated out of his tragic past is very very typical mean male lead, also.
wow. am I the only one that actually adores the female lead and hates the male lead? I like seeing a spoiled character that doesn't drive for money only and has ambition, and though there are a few things I find questionable, I can already see that she is about to grow in this drama. whereas for the male lead, he'd probably only soften up a bit because he gets used to her and then they'll reveal his tragic past and his abusive behaviour will be excused.
this drama was light, and refreshing, but not amazing imo :')pros:- dr ye- ye line- the characters were cute (the…
I see how it can be boring for a lot of people but since this is kind of a slice of life drama all those filler stories are actually what it is about. The story is also more character driven then story driven. I wasn't a big fan of the love triangle either so I am not gonna argue about that but for the main couple, though it's your opinion if you found them to be meh, it is pretty common in Korea to address your partner formal, especially in the beginning and if you are used to address them in a professional environment. Not every couple drops the formalities, but that doesn't mean they don't love each other less or are uncomfortable with each other.
I am pretty happy with everything. For a slice of life drama I found everything to be quite perfect, that's why I am not bothered by the few strings that were left open. Though, I am gonna admid the love triangle had my blood boiling at some point. I think the reason why I loved it much more than seemingly the most commentors before me is because more than story development I love character development and I feel like most characters went through a little change and we actually know about them now because we`ve seem their backstory.
I really doubt there will be romance - and, premature as it is, I really think it is that he takes his role so…
Yeah I doubt it too, I just wanted to say it :D I know that he's a very serious character with a dark history apparently but I came to a point where I don't really care for it that much. In his defense, he didn't do anything that bad yet, so I am not raising the red flag but he is already my least favourite character for sure. Especially because I really love the personality of our female lead right now.
I cannot believe that I AM SAYING this but I really don't hope for any kind of romance here. especially not between the main leads because I really don't like the first male lead. I am so over mean jerk guys tbh. I know it's not listed in the genre, but sometimes crime, mystery dramas still have little hints of romance.
So I didn't like Minho from the beginning but I really think the writers were doing the utterly most in ep 14 when trying to show how hurt he is and blah blah. It was a little too much. And don't think I forgot about it just because they really didn't mention it in ep15. BY only forgave him because it was convenient that he called.
The most thing people talk about is the love triangle in this drama.. Is there no story or other stuffs that makes…
I think the side stories are also very interesting, I love the whole supporting cast, but I'll guess we keep talking only about the love triangle because it is the continued storyline, wherease with poems and the storyline of side characters mostly remain for one episode only. What I did notice was that they had much more poetry in the beginning and towards the end they also use songs, which is not bad but e.g. they only had one poem in ep 15 and it used to be 2 or three I think.

In no life I am going to watch that.
