I must be watching a different drama. I really am shocked with the romantizing of the male lead's behaviour. It personally disgusts me. I don't understand how anyone is shipping them or how anyone finds it sexy.

i haven't seen this YET but i just watched a forced kissing scene—i knew this drama had those but—she's crying…
I'm 100% on your side. I don't even know why people try to argue against consent, it's crazy.

can someone please convinced me to watch this drama because I've already watched 7 episodes in but I still can't…
I'm at ep 36, and I'm still not really into. I dislike the romance, and the politics is also not that interesting to me

though I'm torn about the ending, I really deem it unnecessary that it's so vague and our favourite bodyguards died, but overall it was an amazing drama. loved all episodes, loved to hate the villians, too. the special episode was nice, though because it's such a shift in mood and style it's a bit difficult to take it serious for me personally. still 10/10

I know y'all view Wanning as a victim and her fate was truly tragic but with the amount of people she has had killed there's really no redemption for her. I feel like they want us to forget how terrible she was because they're now focusing on her fake pregnancy which humanises her. But when did she ever humanise her victims?

I cannot feel sorry for Wanning. I feel empathy for her suffering but it's no way an excuse for how she goes on an treats people. Had she shown at least some humanity along the way, then maybe I'd say she's only a victim of the royal patriarchy but the fact that she uses her power not to strive for vengeance for herself but to hurt people beneath her and treat their lives less valuable then an ant, makes me not care for her pain at all. In fact, I'd like to see her suffer more.
Now she's crying because a scum of man, who she forced to ruin his wife's reputation and then cruelly burry her alive, doesn't really love her and is not willing to sacrifice anything for her. Who would've thought? Why are you surprised when the man that cheated with you cheats on you?

He was greedy for power. Without the princess’s backing, he wouldn’t have gone as far in his career as he…
But he's not even using any power??? I'd understand if he had some goal to achieve and the connection to the psycho princess would help with it, but so far that's not the case.

What even is Shitty Rong's ambition? He seems like someone who is fair, with noble motivations, but how did he just become a psycho's tool to be degraded and abused? He can't tell me that it's for his mother and sister because it does not seem like he likes them at all. So what did he do this all for?

You can really see the tension between A'li and Duke Su. You can see it in their expression, the subtle flirting. A grin that cannot be suppressed because they're such good tactical partners. Whenever they talk, there's only little space, never allowing anyone a chance to come between them. I wish I could write an essay about their romance. I'm such a sucker for slow burn when it's done like this. When they are smart and partners in crime/justice, when they understand each other.
I love the story so much, not only the romance, though it keeps me giddy.

I think this was actually good and funny, with a good life lesson and a message we all (but especially SK) desperately needs. However, I think they should've shortened it. 12 eps would've been amazing.
Yoon Park really took the spotlight for me.

How is the romance here?and is there any love interest for chen xin hai or he is 2nd ml?wanting to start this…
The romance is a slow burn but very well paced, every scene between them has been paying off and worth the wait. There doesn't seem to be another love interest for CXH, though he appears to like our female lead but nothing serious so far. Halfway into the drama, however, he had very little screen time, so I'm not sure why he's listed as a main role or if he'll gain more importance now.
Starting this after your exams is very smart because the drama is addicting.

The discussion about the age gap is so funny when you haven't forgotten about Lin Yu Shen who was more than double her age when they filmed for Dating in the Kitchen and Lusi still delivered an amazing chemistry and performance.
