Yes, some of the last episodes were tedious, but I would lie if I said that I didn't still love this so much. Youning and Wenxi were such a believable pair. The leads had amazing chemistry, and we could really see their characters fall so deep in love with each other. I really liked how they ended this, beautifully wrapped up. I also liked how they didn't try to make everything about the time travel make sense because that's most often what goes wrong with the genre. I like that they left some unexplainable thinks open because that's just how life is.
I'm for Jaeon because this drama turned boring enough already. Yes, I don't like him, but I sincerely don't care about any character any more. I admit that I'm probably biased here and only continue watching for Song Kang's pretty face.
From what I've seen in the first episode, Cheng Yi's acting is superior to the quality of the production. Especially, the editing makes it look very cheap. Though, I know Zhang Yu Xi is a nice actress, her acting looks rather silly compared to the other actors because she breaks the serious mood.
I loved this, but the ending was just very weirdly edited. They also should've taken at least one or two minutes to nicely end the Cheng Yi plot because if I hadn't read a comment of someone who read the book, I wouldn't have got it. Though nice, the last two episodes felt too much like filler episodes.
You have to keep watching. That analogy was not intended for those researchers, but ML asked that as analogy to…
I figured that much by his reaction, but it's still dumb because, again, nobody was forcing these women to anything. So, he shouldn't compare his situation to theirs.
I just started this, but that analogy by the male lead in ep 4 really makes me angry. What if your family was held at gunpoint? But that wasn't the case! These women were falsifying medical research results for empathetic reasons that wouldn't serve any excuse to people that could die of possible side effects. This woman straight up said that it wouldn't be bad because those people were supposed to die anyway... how heartless is that? Do these people have no right to the rest of their life? Instead, they should be lied to and manipulated, and their already sick self should act as a tool for those that could survive? She already had ripped those people off their value and worth for any moment of life, they are worthless to her because the disease she's trying to cure would kill them anyway.
I really gotta compliment their wardrobe. It feels like finally something young women would actually wear. Cute and realistic, something very trendy. Most of the time when the FL dress really well in dramas, then it's because their super fashionable, never something that you just see regularly in the stores.
