I'm normally all for "don't project your insecurities on your partner", but it's not the first time she has been suspicious of him, and he does give off the most sus vibes. And even if he didn't cheat on her, what I don't believe, because you don't catch chlamydia just anywhere anyhow, he wasn't boyfriend goals to begin with. Keeping the relationship from his mother, having her spend the night out, not thinking of and caring about where she's supposed to stay. Not helping with the household work, not wanting to take a test (even for basic health reasons), often staying away overnight, not even trying to be supportive when she was obviously stressed about having caught a STI, not even being slightly suspicious or worried about where she supposedly caught a sexually transmitted infection when not from him at the beginning and only throwing it at her face at the end. Honestly, even if he's turns out to be completely innocent, they didn't look happy even without that "misunderstanding", so it's really no use.

There is a lot more to the phobias than hatred, like systemic oppression, denial, stereotypes and their resulting prejudices. Just like someone can act extremely homophobic because they grew up like that and didn't know better, without actually hating homosexuals and even having gay friends. Therefore, Karleen acted very biphobic without wanting to be it. However, it still doesn't change the fact that it's her prejudice against bisexuals that is precisely hard to overcome. There is a lot of ignorance involved because people will think bisexuality is a 50/50 kind of thing, or that they wouldn't have to suffer because they could always choose to be in a heterosexual relationship. Bisexuals can actually face quite a lot of biphobia in the LGBTQ+Community. And I think that we shouldn't be too negligent with that kind of behavior and mindset. People should know that if they act that certain way, they will be called the rightful terms. As for Karleen, it would be just as biphobic of a straight person to exclude all bisexuals from their dating pool just because they had a prejudice against them, and it's probably those stereotypes and prejudices that nourished Karleen's believe that bisexuals cannot be faithful.

Just like with the other phobias it would be the hatred against polyamorous people and not even tolerating their lifestyle and therefore degrading it as wrong and weird or as a sickness and crime. Though it's definitely okay wanting to be in a monogamous relationship - polyamory and polygamy are prohibited in, I believe, most countries, and are strongly connoted in sexism. As far as Germany concerns, there's no education on polyamory because monogamy has been conceived as the standard and only right form of relationship types. I'd argue that fewer people even know about the right term, but would just call it an open relationship. And people in open relationships are most likely always described as unfaithful and indecisive, where in fact there must be a surprising number of people that probably don't know they are and would be polyamorous because it was never introduced and/or normalized to them.
Honestly, for it only being about 12 mins each ep it was really dragging. I can't even tell you what happened between the eps of 2 and 7, because there was no development. It was pretty obvious that it tried to include a lot of tourism sights, but they really could've written a story that was stronger involved into the actual Thai tourism. Because except for a few pretty pictures at the end of each ep, it was completely buried under the grumpy YouTuber storyline and whether the romantic plot line was to happen or not.
Honestly, I wouldn't date any of them. Why couldn't they have something more similar to Gameboys, this whole love triangle thing is exhausting and most people hate it. There are also really ruining Pearl as a character for me.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I don't really know what's its charm, but I'm really in love with the leads and the overall plot so far. I hope it keeps this energy.
A thing I loved about Asian dramas was that they are completed works. Open endings were intended and not forgotten. They were not relying on the viewership to continue or finish the story, and they were rarely multiple seasons. And now, in the name of capitalism, Netflix will let us suffer.
I really hope they keep doing it like this where they only include some scenes and the overall premise but just go a different way with the development of the drama.
