This dramas potential was wasted on a military plot. i know it's based on a book but literally if it had been a normal revenge drama with 1 big villian instead of multiple ones this would have been the best chinese drama of the year. They had couples with good chemistry, interesting side characters and a very good first half so why the confusing war plotlines. 1. If u have to research on different things and bring out and analyze their entire relationship to proof that's it's okay for them to be together morally u have proved my point about their relationship grasping outside of the normal zone.
