Really heartwarming
I rated it this low because they completely fked up in the last episode but from what i can see a season 2 was agreed thats why they did that for a set up.
I really loved the background the republican era exciting and lovely i also loved the cast they all did a great job especially the female leads very rare to ses that kind of level of good acting in a chinese drama.
Even tho it's a censored GL they left us enough room to interpret what their relationship might be like which was good. And the story and murder mysteries were really played out well especially in the first half. Hopefully season 2 can give them more rooom for improvements.
