I just don’t like that word dumb ass because she was willing to stick beside the man she loved. she did get smart back with him &’ he embarrassed her in front of their co workers once. she was fed up at him and asked him “who remembers the person they loved at 18” she defended her self too then that’s when he brought up what she said when she confessed. she went after him each time because she knew something was off after his sister died .. she was doing her best to figure it out because she knew he had a plan that could mess up his future because he was being weird and cold all of a sudden. I wouldn’t call it chasing because she’s just there .. like I said she regrets leaving so she’s there helping him and making sure he don’t do something crazy again. which is why when she thought he did .. she slapped him with tears in her eyes. also when he said that in front of their co workers and she accidentally take pills when drunk.. in the hospital he came running to her .. she refused to see him as she should. later he asked her out to go see their old professor and he apologized. she let him know all of her depression wasn't because of him which is true. she stated she always has that anxiety with her which is from her parents . she never got to live the life she wanted or make her own decisions. I genuinely don’t think she was ever happy growing up plus her best friend had died. they didn’t dive into that much but there were signs that she was a little depressed before she met him.. you just have to watch those details.

im going to need for you to watch it again because she wasn’t being a dumb ass!! what did you expect her to do? lie and ignore him like she didn’t miss him? she knows what she wants and she goes after it which matches how her character is “portrayed”. ALSO she is smart and strong. she helped him with the company so why wouldn’t she stay and help him get it back? she felt terrible for leaving him and not being able to save him from the path he took. that feeling at her up.. she got a chance to be around him again .. why wouldn’t she cherish it? even though they bicker, neither of them can live without each other and it showed us that. it also showed us how much they missed each other. i will admit that li xun was being an ass mainly because he was jealous .. he thought she moved on but all he could have did was asked her. he admitted to not knowing how to ask her then continued to say it’s not the right time because of his revenge plans. REMEMBER li xun did not want her in the middle of his revenge all the way through .. he tried and tried to push her away because she is his only weaknesss. old gao knew that and he tested that then li xun gave in but zhu yun wasn’t letting him. ALSO old gao didn’t just betray Li xun.. he also betrayed her… they were all friends. she wanted to give li xun what he’s been missing .. would it have made sense for her to let him continue to be alone? also he lacks communication and people skills.. did you think after being taken away from the outside world it would get any better? this is a realistic drama .. you can have your opinions but don’t call her a dumb ass because you didn’t understand the show.

lol oh!! girl im dying at the presentation sentence! it was old gao fault tbh.. he just wouldn’t listen and my baby zhu yun just wanted to keep peace lol so she just went along wit it but when he came in and helped she smiled so hard lol. you’re about get to the good part lol. ep 6 is one of my favs fr! I’ve watched the drama more than 20 times. If you have any question come back !!

actually the show is very different from other school/university dramas. the guy is indeed smart but so is she! he is cold to everyone but her except for when he pushes her away. she isn’t silly nor bubbly lol she has a lot of character, her mouth is kind of smart lol.. it just shows she stands up for her self. yes they eventually start dating because it’s literally the beginning of college. also not like other dramas… the chemistry is INSANEEE. if you think this show is similar to others .. please let me know the names because I have yet to find a similar/better drama with a amazing plot, amazing chemistry and visuals from both leads!!

it wasn’t boring to me at all but ig it isn’t for everyone

it’s a happy ending .. they get married but no wedding is showed .. just the registration

im not joking either! I respect your opinion on the ml being a red flag. the chemistry part is what gets me.. they had great on/off screen chemistry. both actors acted well.. especially with their eyes. but hey ig you were too busy to notice because you were too focused on the bad of the ml instead of the whole story. have a good day ;)

I’m sorry, but she’s not. Can you actually say she builds chemistry with her ml? or doesn’t look likes she’s confused all of the time? I’m not saying she’s horrible, I’m saying she needs more work , especially if she’s going to act with Arthur.

@white17e I have watched her other work! I’ve dropped all of them besides you are my desire, but it took a while for me to finish. I only finished because of yiran. She is a okay actress but she has trouble building chemistry with her leads. I do like her and im not hating, just telling the truth. I would love to enjoy her dramas 100% because I like her but I must be honest about her acting skills when it comes to romance.

@white17e I would love to agree with you but it’s a no! Imp she is talented but her acting needs a little more work & people should be aware of that before they think too highly of her!
