Damn, I am now on middle episodes. She is not just cunning and ambitious, but A-grade b***h as well.

I am currently on starting episodes. I want to ask, is Wu Huan good and innocent character like she portrays or is she cunning and ambitious? It looks like she approached FL due to her status as chief god, and became her attendant. She is also getting in love triangle between Gu Jun and Yue Mi's disciple(I forgot his name).

Fr. I watched love and redemption, love between fairy and devil, longest promise, back from brink and few others xianxia. The common plot is these are ML, being silent protector and not clearing the misunderstandings on time. They will let FL, misunderstand them, and then she will realize he always loved him and finally go back to him. This will take 10-15 episodes lol.

This is the issue with love triangles with sml dramas. Viewers start sympathysing with sml. I, am one of those viewers, who only ships main leads. Plus, main leads in this drama had such a good chemistry. I don't give a f about Yumo, his sorry backstory, or his love for FL. To me he was just an extra with unnecessary screen time.

FL's father is also useless. He frequently talks about righteousness, but never owns up to his mistakes. At the end, he is also just trying to preserve his own sect's power, by hook or by crook.

I am on ep 18. This Hao Chen is sss-grade A****le. I hope he does not get a happy ending. And I just found out that, Hao chen was not even in the original novel. They just added him to mess with the viewers.

I have just started watching, and I think he is just a typical SML who clings on to FL even after knowing she loves someone else and interferes in her life in the name of PROTECTING her. smh.

Hers's my theory- SML is actually the son or grandson of Grandpa’s girlfriend. His parents were killed in some accident that involved Queen's group shady business dealings. This led to him being an orphan as shown in 3rd episode. Grandpa was part of that shady deal. Now, decades later, both of them are trying to take down Grandpa ,and take control of whole queen's group.
And I predict that they will be almost successful in their plan, but ml will put a stop to whole operation and save the group at the last moment.

Only ML liked FL. There were no other characters interested in her and she was also not interested in anyone else apart from ML. SML was only interested in SFL and vice versa. In fact, the plot of main leads and second leads did not intersect much. Main leads plot was focused on their drowning careers, and second leads were both single parents and their story revolved around struggles of single parents.

SML is an epitome of douchebag guy. Its been a long time, that I got this irritated due to SML while watching a kdrama. Idc about his tragic past or sincere (or insincere) motivations.

In which episode, there misunderstanding is resolved? I am on ep 8.

I am currently on ep 7 and I am really not liking the Fl's character at all ! I read in some reviews that she is supposed to be a strong woman but I am finding her really annoying to bear. Maybe she is supposed to have some character development in future episodes?
At the start, it was shown that she was a spoilt princess who basically ruined the career of SFL and got her fired.
After her family tragedy, the decisions that she made would have led to her downfall very quickly. It was due to the kindness shown by her Father's love interest Yue Shan (which she was pushing away from her life) who gave her the list of debtors, which gave her the initial money to start the business. Kindness shown by SML who was her creditor, but instead helped her in factory.
And ofc, the patience shown by ML, who she blamed for all her issues. I mean, if Ml was a ruthless investor, he would have kicked her out from day one after buying the land. He gave her all the time and when he knew that she is not going anywhere in business, only then he asked for her to move. She basically staged a suicided attempt to get his sympathy, took the recording of that conversation and threatened to ruin his reputation if he did not agree to let her rent the factory. smh.
On the contrary, ML is very kind even though he is working in a job where people determine their decisions based only on profit and loss. He helped SFL to get her career back on track. He also supported FL in dark by getting her father's debtor to pay her back. He saved her from killing herself in ep 3. I hope her character improves a little in future episodes.

Do I have to watch any other Chinese Paladin series for this?

Not episode 20. In fact, she never liked him as her partner even after he proposed marriage to her. It was around ep 27 that she finally took a step forward to become his partner. But at that point also, she did not necessarily had a crush on him. She just realized that Buyi will be a good husband to her.

I was feeling bad because I thought Tae Sang drank that water cup. I missed that post credit scene. While re-watching ep 7, I finally waited for the credits. Its good to see Ishikawa's bitch getting punished. I think the character that I hated most in this drama was Ishikawa.

Agreed. Apart from acting, this show was mediocre. Audience can guess literally everything that is going to happen. At least for me, there was nothing new in this drama that I haven't watched previously. But that does not mean, I didn't enjoy it. It was a passable time killer drama for me that I will ofc not rewatch.

You definitely wrote well. I am currently on episode 16 and I can't stand any of these so called coaches tbh. Only ML's mom can be considered a good coach but the rest of the coaches, including ML' s coach are awfull. Of course, the most trash coach of all is Xiao Han.
Before ML's mom became head coach, he basically drove the team in gutter during previous years. He does not have one good quality on him as a coach. The way he treats everyone as supporting characters and one girl as main character is horrible. And yes due to his coaching, school lost talented Bingling. Just imagine, how many girl's future he would have destroyed for Luo Xiao Yi if he was head coach smh. Plus he doesn't even learn form his mistakes. When he drove Bingling away, he should have realised his mistakes and improved upon them but he never did so and also brought FL to support Xiao Yi. He fueled Luo Xiao Yi's ego too much. And worst of all he unknowingly (or knowingly) plays around with his student's hearts. Luo Xiao Yi had an obvious crush on him, but he never addressed this issue properly and always lead her on. He almost did same with FL when he found her sketchbook. I believe he is also some kind of undercover narcissist who likes the attention of all his female students.

On the side note, I only said ML's coach was also bad was because I didn't see him training ML for singles format. ML was either practising alone or depending on Xiao Qing for his training (which gave her unnecessary screen time lol).
