Yes, its so true. That guy was total a**le and home wrecker. It was clear that Nam Goo loved his wife very much, but after years of marriage and due to his job, he took his wife for granted. The problems in their marriage, could have been resolved with little more communication between them. But that shitty home wrecker stopped that from happening. This is one of those shows where I wonder if leads are dating irl. Their chemistry is off the charts . From first episode, where she met ML in train, the way she looked at him and their interactions felt so natural. The way they hold hands, kiss or hug, everything feels natural.

All relationships are based on compromises between men and women. Before a relationship, someone may not like a particular trait in their partner, so they will change themselves and vice versa. Why? Because it's worth it to be with that person. I believe the main issue with FL here is she does not want to compromise at all in their relationship, which in the long run will still create a rift between them. Either ML will need to move to shanghai or she will have to stay.

Exactly. Their relationship can be compared with drama ' meet yourself'. In that drama as well, female lead had a career in Shanghai or some big city, I don't remember and the ML had his business in a village. ML fell for FL, but they were mature in that drama.
FL never led him on because she knew, she will leave. When ML confessed, he didn't force her to stay. Eventually, she did come back to village to be with him.
In this drama, FL is constantly saying I love Shanghai more than you, so why are you trying to pursue a relationship with him?

I just started this. I want to ask about the marriage between leads. It looks like FL married ML to get the apartment, but what was their long term plan? Would they get a divorce after sometime? I know they will stay together at the end, but what was their initial plan?

Yes, they get together pretty late in the drama. So, I thought remaining few episodes will focus on their relationship and mother will have less screen time. I was so disappointed that the last episodes were only about mother, her illness, her childhood, her relationships with people in village etc. I also felt that, YZM even became a supporting character instead of main during the end. lol

From what I have seen so far, he is not rude at all. He just have a cold exterior, but you can see in ep 4 he still cares for FL after all these years. Some Real rude ML's were from boys over flower, true beauty, she was pretty etc.

No love triangle. FL had a boyfriend at the start. She broke up with him at ep 11. There is no love triangle because ML was not interested in FL romantically at the beginning (but there were signs), and he never pursued her, when she was in relationship. After breakup, her boyfriend was last seen in ep 16, and he is absent from the show till now. But now, FL is already in relationship with ML.
Xu Ling Yue is FL'S best friend and romantic interest of her brother.
