I am completely oblivious to whats going on in comments section, whats the fuss is about, please explain.
Nothing. Just a bunch of some hypocrit (and toxic) people (but not all of course) judging so hard a series when it's only the first episode...at least they can wait a little...Personally, I've seen way worse.... It's getting ridiculous....
This series for sure won't please everyone...Expect some harsh and nitpicking comments here... - some BL fans won't appreciate the shade against them (and their fantasies) - some fans of TT and Mame's work won't appreciate the shade - some KaoEarth fans won't appreciate the new "ship" (as they have already forced Up to withdraw from an event with Kao) - the "true woke" viewers will scream "hypocrisy" about the series and call it "fake woke" - the extremely elitist viewers (with a competitive mindset) will say some other series have set the bar high and will criticize everything... And the list is going on....
But if you're just a casual viewer, you'll just watch and make your own mind....If you like it, that's ok. if you don't like it, well, you'll simply drop the show and watch another series without making an essay here.
It is even more laughable considering those criticism I'm sure come from (international) viewers who have watched the show illegally....If you have watched legally, well, good for you....At least you have the decency to criticize while supporting the work of the artist(s).
I relate to Gene sooo much, with his writer's block, introverted personality...Maybe one of the reason I already like the series a lot ! Also I notice something funny. When he was meeting his publisher at the beginning, the background screen of her monitor keeps changing between the shots lol
I guess they have made S2 more dramatic to show the depth of their feelings. ., Shu Yi wears his heart on his…
I can understand his anger but that hate and abuse are not a good premise for a (healthy) relationship... It will most likely destroy both of them. If the screenwriter/director go that way, I just hope they won't portray toxicity as something "sexy" or "intense". There is nothing attractive about that. It is ugly and often very sad, even traumatic....
The first season was so enjoyable to watch and quite sweet (even if Shi De actions were sometimes a little too "manipulative") but I'm really scared for the second season. Well, we'll see.
Interesting new episode but something tell me I'll be more interested into the "spiritual connection" between Tian and Torfun than the actual love story (not a big fan of Earth's acting generally but maybe I'll be surprised ?)
Comments complaining about the lack of sense of the story when they are themselves making no sense because of their lack of attention to the plot...not saying the show doesn't have flaws...but those comments are not really credible....at least pay attention to the story and the clues....this is getting ridiculous...
