Wow just saw that the actor who played the young ML is actually his younger brother in real life..
He’s not actually playing the young ML, he acted as the body double when Youngyeom and Seunghwi had a scenes together. It was actually shown in one of the bts episodes.
Kim Youngsoo killed him in all the timelines (remember that someone knocked on his door? That's Kim Youngsoo)
I was thinking that too, but the second time KYS tried to killed him they were actually fighting and there were signs of struggle. Meanwhile the first time around the police find nothing, hence they rule it as s******
So did the OG Sunjae from first timeline actually k-word himself because of his guilt not being able to rescue Sol? Or was he murdered by mysterious someone? I think I might’ve missed some clue 😣
The drama is titled Doona, but we only saw a glimpse of her life. Wish they would explore more about Doona’s past idol life, how the manager basically groomed her, her anxiety, her previous idol group. There are a-lot of stories to explore, but then it won’t be enough for a 9 episode series.
I remember I was so confused watching the first two episodes. But re-watching those episodes again after completing the series just hits me differently 🥺
Does the ml get his eyesight back?I hate such dramas or movies where the characters get their eyesight back and…
Yes he did get his eyesight back.
I have to agree with you, first half of the drama was great. They did a great job in potraying the difficulties ML had to endure as a blind person. But then he suddenly got surgery and get perfect eyesight, just like that. I wish they didn't have to make it like the ML had to have his eyesight back in order for him to feel less insecure about himself, or how the people around him (ie FL's mother) would accept him as he was, with perfect eyesight or not.
The scenes when Lei Ze Xin found out about Wen Bin's identity was hilarious! Wang Rui Chang nailed that performance, his micro expression was priceless I was laughing so hard :''')))
Even in the c-drama it feels like their university time happened so quickly, so the the k-drama version feels like it was 4 times faster (there are barely 2 episodes). I blinked once and they suddenly in their late 20s. Such a pity because I wish we could've seen more of ML and FL chemistry while they were dating and before their big break up
This was a slow burn romance indeed. I just love PBG and SHK chemistry here. I really appreciate how the director and writer took their time and let us witness the MC's relationship developed so beautifully. From the beginning when they first met in Cuba (the spark definitely started there!), their awkward interaction when they met again at her hotel, the moment they decided to give relationship a try, the first time Jinhyuk started calling her by her name (though they still talked formally with each other throughout the drama), up until last episode where we saw they were so much more comfortable and has begun to speak casually with each other. I need to watch this again and pay more attention to the subtle detail they put in this drama.
I feel like this drama got off to a rocky start, the plot and character introduction were rushed, and honestly a bit cringey. But I'm glad I stuck around and did not give up on this because now they definitely have found their own charm which differentiate this with the c-drama version.
