I am almost finished with the whole series and am now agreeing with you. Looking back, the first couple of episodes doesn't really best described her whole situation, so it's hard for me to actually understand and empathized with the FL. The later episodes did a pretty good job describing why she did what she did, the pressure from her work environment etc.

Still on the first two episodes and tbh the stalker-ish behaviour of the FL kinda bother me. But, heard great review on this, so might stick around and continue watching it and hope for great character development

It took me watching several c-dramas to get used to the voice dubbing, now I don't mind them so much anymore ^^

Yeah, most of c-dramas are dubbed, some with the real actor voice but other use voice actors. In this case, Ye Xiu voice was dubbed by somebody else, not Yang yang.
