I see. I was thinking there might've been some concrete reasoning as to why they were sent into the games, something twisted created by the game master, and turned out there is! Thank you for your explanation ^^
Fiction did a really great job portraying someone with social anxiety, particularly in the first several episodes. I think I first saw him in accidentally in love - you can clearly saw he was a rookie back then, his acting has improved a lot since. Kudos ^^
I'm on episode 5 and I just couldn't continue watching because the FL was just too gullible and frankly so stupid - she irks me to no end. In the first 5 episodes alone she was basically tricked and cheated in each episode, when will she learn her lesson :////
From what I’ve read in the comments, many people were surprised by Ep3 outcome. Was I the only one who saw what…
I also kind of feel the foreshadowing of their death since ep 1, but like most people it came shocking to me that their death actually happen so early and in a so so so heartbreaking way
1. Can someone recommend me dramas like this where conflicts n misunderstandings are in the first episodes n from…
You could try these. They're mainly sweet and simple drama without draggy and unnecessary conflicts, hopefully they suit your taste :) Put your head on my shoulder Intense love My neighbour can't sleep Way back into love
The male lead face is soft compared to the original one..
Agree, Hu Yitian really gave off this cold and very-hard-to-approach vibe, meanwhile Yohan gave a off a softer vibe plus we kept seeing him smile in the first episode.
ML and FL definitely were not perfect and had their own flaws and issues, but it really got draggy once they broke up and FL started dating SML. In the later half of the drama, I just find FL's friends story line became more interesting than the MC. In particular the pregnant friend and her cheating husband. The friend's character development was also very well written.
Overall, the characters' actions (the gossipy aunty getting on my nerves) resulted in many many frustrating moments. So, despite SWL and Miles Wei looking super fine here, I really couldn't sit and re-watch this again
Such a pity the conflicts between ML and FL with their respective parents were never discussed in depth, it has such great potential for an interesting story line about how their dream defy the expectation of their parents. We only got one line in the last episode hinting that the ML's mom never accepts him studying sculpture, and that's basically it.
And about the FL initial interest about oil painting. It feels like they didn't show us enough of her actually loving or doing oil painting to actually make me believe that she really were interested in oil painting. When FL got conflicted whether to stay in sculpture or proceed with her transfer, I just couldn't empathized with her conflicts. If only they showed her love for oil painting since early episodes and showed how she also slowly loving sculpture, I can understand her decision on giving up oil painting and staying in sculpture.
The filming location is so breathtaking. If only my uni has the same gorgeous scenery just like the academy in this drama, I might never get bored staying on campus all the time XD
There have been sooo many cases of bad wig on c-drama - most of the time they were annoyingly distracting. Thank goodness FL's wig was so pretty and didn't look "fake" at all, it actually looked like her natural hair ^^
