A underdog demon slaying agency with demon´s!
I loved everything about this drama. I enjoyes the demon story but it´s not a new story. But to make rival agency and have an overhiped character that can not deliver. Brilliant! The Visuals where excellent, the cast and acting was on point. Only the actress Chen Du Ling did not fit the part. Well it´s a personal opinion, but I don´t like her being so sad and so sick and so frail. She is the personified weak female character. Shouldn´t she be a godes? Her character and her weak acting didn´t make any sence, and her tears are obviously... let´s just say, I loathe her fake crying!Story: Cool story setting. Great well fleshed charactors. Amazing visuals effects 10/10
Acting/Cast: The demon - hunter - setting alowed a whide acting range. Great experienced actors, did an amazing jog. -0,5 points, because I personaly dont like Chen Du Ling being cast in another weak evercrying female goddes role! 9,5/10
Music: Great entertaining music. listening right now! 10/10

A painter as investigator, is unlikely but entertaining
I realy liked it, and am now waiting to watch Season 2, wich isn´t available in my country. The story is about a painter turned into an police investigatior. this is a unlikely fact. We never get so see, how he became a investigator. Did he go to police school? There are some plotholes for the story and also in the episodes for the cases. That´s sadly a no-go for an investigation story of any kind, so there are some minus points! But I liked the cast of the story. Tan Jianci did a very good job!Was this review helpful to you?
Watch it, if you want to be heartbroken
You ever been heartbroken? Watch this BL if you want to reminisce. Cry to your hearts content. One gets his heart broken the oder one is a fuckboy. By the time the world comes to an end, and they meet again, only to remember their hurtfull past. This drama is well made and the main actors are pretty good!I watched this drama now the third time. Sometimes we want to feel heartbroken! ;-)

Finaly a strong FL that is brave enough to let someone into her life and love her!
It´s a very good romanic drama! There are sad moments and sweet moments. The tension between the FL and ML get´s quickly resolved and we can enjoy them growing into their relationship, while solving their business problems along the way. There also some issues from their family backround in the past, like always in these drama´s. That´s no new concept.All in all the concept of the story is nothing new, nor inovative! Nonetheless is the drama very well made, its entertaining for the sweet moments, the good chemistry between the actors. Very good actors.
I appreciated the well writen and executed threedimentional charactors the most. The strong FL has depth and awareness over her abilities and is bold to accept her flaws, willing to forgive and appologise. The ML is the gentleman, very mature and emotional stable. I liked both very much!
Story: no new concept, but I liked the charactors inside the story very much! 8/10
Acting/Cast: very good cast, good belivable acting. everyone suited their roles! 10/10
Music: soft pop balads, nothing groundbreaking, sombre piano backround music. fitting for the drama. 9/10
Rewatch Value: while I enjoyed it, it´s not something I need to rewatch, the story is too generic, mabee with my mom... 5/10

Very good detailed corporate drama! A missleading revenge story?
I´m no big fan of corporate dramas, because often times I´m lost in the semantics. I don´t understand much on finance or stocks or management. But because of the ML actor Lee Je-Hoon, wich I love in every role, I had to give this one a try! He didn´t disapoint. The story is compeling! At first you have to figure out, the real character of the ML... tbh I didn´t find a conclusive thought or opinion on that. Is he cold an calculating? Is this a revenge story?The season has an open ending, so hopefully the drama performs well in ratings, so we can soon watch the second season!
Story: It´s not a thriller and here is no action, but often times the story get´s tense. So soon you get invested! 9/10
Acting/Cast: Grade A KDrama cast. So many familiar faces, and good actors! 10/10
Side Note: In corporate KDramas you often find characters with hilarious outbursts wich can seem unbelivable and unprofessional for forengers. It appears as overacting of the character. I understand it´s part of the korean cultur to depict these charactors in such way. I appreciate this drama has not many of such charactors, and they also don´t act too intense. Maybe it´s a more modern way of depicting these characters in a more realistic way.
Music: They used 2-3 griddy Pop Songs from an artist named Kevin Salem and Yul Lovett and suspensefull backround music. Fitting for this drama, not my personal taste. 7/10
Rewatch Value: If I have to wait long for the second season, I have to watch the first one again. 8/10

Entertaining high school revenge story!
As the drama came out I watched it then, because I knew the ML actor from another very good drama and thought I gave it a shot! I enjoyed it. Though I thought, I´m to old for high school dramas, the action, and fast pased story is very entertaining. Sometimes the story get´s too violent, but that´s also, why the ending is so impactfull. I liked all actors, and I liked the music.I watched it now the 2nd time, because of season 2!

Incredible story with fire music and pour acting, but you will get used to it!!!
First of all, it´s one of my favorite Dramas. I already have watched it four times. Since it´s was released back in 2019 it does not need another review. I woult like to ad something nonetheless.The story is incredible! I did not read the book but I know it´s a BL adaptation. It´s got quite the fanbase. I watched it because of the recomendations and fell in love with it. I must say that even if you don´t know the source material, you can fall in love with it! And I personaly don´t mind, that it lacks any of the BL stuff, because of cencorship! In fact, I think it´s better of without it. You can feel the love between the two ML despite it!
Story: There is -1 Minuspoint for some plotholes, and -1 for the mess in the beginning. The drama did not need a timeswitch, even if it´s in the book source, wich I don´t know of. It woult have been better with a linear storyline. 8/10
Acting/Cast: There are some problems with the directing and major problems with excessive chinese overacting. So I have to deduct here more points! But you will get used to it, and if you make it till the middle of the drama, you don´t mind anymore. Xiao Zhan is one of the best actors here. Without him, the drama woult not been successful! But I must say, I´m not a fan of his acting in generall. In other drama´s he left me with a bad impression. I´m honestly surprissed, but I guess he´s just a better actor than the rest. The worst actors in major roles were Wang Zhuo Cheng (Jiang Cheng), Wang Hao Xuan (Xue Yang) and Zhu Zan Jin (Meng Yao). Zhu Zan Jin did remind me sometimes of the Terminator, and I had to hold my laughter when I saw his robotic movements! 6/10
Music: It´s one of the best composition for a CDrama I heard so far. 10/10
Rewatch Value: for me 10/10 ... love the story!

This series tryes to be more than fanservice, but mostly failed
I did not read the BL Novel, so I´m no insider. But I am very familiar with the genre. In the past few years there where a couple of shows that tryed to make a interesting series, that´s more than adapted fanservice. The best example from China for a BL service turned into a Bromance Series is the Untamed.The Spirealm tried very hard. But vital elements that would explain the universe inside the series where missing. So without haven´t read the book it´s hard or imposible to understand many parts. If you have to google to understand, while the content inside the series and the plotholes overexplain the riddles and puzzles inside the doors. The viewer feels stupid and simutaniously are there missing vital information.
And I know because I researched, that it had nothing to do with the BL part, that was cut out.
I understand, that the series was banned in China, probably because of the virtual reality part, wich is very imaginative.
Story: I enjoyed the idea of the escape room game turned into a series. Sadly the story wasn´t always explained much. some characters were cut short, some information about the universe were missing. (example: why and how long do they have to wait for the next door?) 7/10
Acting/Cast: Very young actors need more experience. Sometimes flat emotions. They obviously tried and you could feel the effort. 7/10
Music: Did not fit a horror themed drama. Only one sad song that I liked, but I did not like the rest. 6/10

Interesting but sometimes confusing Storyline
It´s a cop/prosecutor story dealing with corruption inside their own organization. There are three timeline wich I found at first very confusing and hard to follow. But after the 4th episode or so, you get to know the different charactors and will be able to follow the storyline better. Later on, the different timelines explored and explained parallel didn´t confuse me anymore. After all, it´s a good decision from the director to put it that way, because of the different secrets that you will explore.Story: Very good, not the typical serial killer or revenge story. 10/10
Acting/Cast: Very good cast. I didn´t know any of the actors beforhand and was very pleased with their performance. Only the actres Tan Zhuo (Li Jing) didn´t convince me . 9,5/10
Music: I enjoyed it. Very good joyce. Liked the songs. 10/10
Rewatch Value: Unfortunately I don´t watch such stories again, because there is no surprise anymore, after watching it one time. 6/10

Fast pased, gripping story with A-Ha moments and surprising twists.
The story has no linear telling, so there are some twists, because the actual fact get´s only later revealed. That´s common practice in this kind of movies, and nothing new. The movie is also no original story, it´s been done many times. But it´s fast pased, gripping, griddy and bloody. If you´re a fan of cop and gangster stories, you definitly going to enjoy this movie! The action is well executed and not unrealistic at all.Story: Not original, but there are twists I very liked, the first time I watched it. 8/10
Acting/Cast: Very good actors. I discovered Yim Si Wan through this movie. 10/10
Music: fitting 9/10
Rewatch Value: watched it three times till now 10/10

No copy paste, but also no Season 1
The story is not exactly the same, though there are some similarities. Because of the high school setting, it feels familiar. But they did a good job in writing a slyghtly different story. Sadly, it´s not as entertaining, as Season 1. Season 1 felt new and fresh. It´s always difficult to deliver a 2nd Season, as good as the first one.Also the actors weren´t as good as in the first season. More actors also doesn´t make better scenes!
If there is a 3rd Season. I will watch it all over again, because I´m a fan! Overall the 2nd Season was not bad, only a little less entertaining than the first one. I liked it!

Unike story, sad but also intriguing. No typical romance drama!
This story is very unike. It´s no typical romance drama. More like a stalker story, with investigation. Through out the story I felt drawn to these characters. It´s a very talented cast. They all are believable, although they not very dimentional and sometimes lack depth. The ML and FL have not much chemistry but that´s because of the story. I find it very hard to discribe. It´s a short drama. Watch it, if you like slow pased investigation with romantic touch!Since the story itself is unike, I liked this drama!

Never thought a drama about students could be this fun!
The story is fun and well executed. The drama is entertaining, the music is good and the action is gripping. I argued if I have to watch this drama. Normaly a drama of students or high schoolers aren´t my forte. But everyone said, this is one of the best Kdrama of this year, so I thought I give it a shoot. Entertaining corporate drama with a very good cast that keeps you going
In most corporate drama´s the auditors are the bad guy´s wich take the computers and files away. The police of the corporation, most of the time anonymous people. In this drama they given names and faces. I liked the concept of the story. It´s watching investigators inside a corporation. The cast is very good. The story is fast pased and well executed. There are some action scenes but nothing over the top!Story: New kind of view, haven´t seen a plot inside a team of auditors before. 9/10
Acting/Cast: The characters don´t have too much depth but are well drawn out, and there is also character development. Very good actors, only the actres Jo A-Ram played stiff, and sometimes emotionless. 9,5/10
Music: A catchy rock song and suspensefull backround musik. Good joice! 10/10

Touching sad love story without an definite ending
First of all: I´m done watching this drama now for the second time. I´ve watched it first, when it was released, and came now back at it after a year had passed. Nonetheless was I emotional touched by this sad love story again. I cried many times while emphasising with the main character. We get to experience the story of him being in varous relationships.Me being a straight woman, I have no prejudice against gay stories. But honestly I think love is a theme that everyone can emphasise with. The main actor himself said in an interview, that it´s ultimatly a story of a human in the search of love.
I like it very much, because it´s not like the typical KDrama Love romance, but it´s also not a raunchy gay film with to much intimicy only for shock value. While it´s gay themed, it thouches also some theames of the gay comunity. But not to heavily, for not scaring the casuel audience away.
Story: Not many dramas for this kind of journey to love story in a straight context, so it´s kinda refreshing and you can hardly compare it to other korean dramas. It was very well depicted, and I didn´t mind the overlaping timelines in the last episodes. 10/10
Acting/Cast: The main actor is a very good one. He played very well. Some other actors played their roles stiff or overacted sometimes. All in all, a good cast. 8/10
Music: Good acustical music well suited for each scene. No outstandig pop titles or balads. Good choice! 8/10
Rewatch Value: I did rewatch it and would even recomend the title. 10/10
Their is no real ending for this drama, it´s open. I would love to see a season 2. But some stories are best left in the open. Maybe the story is fine as it is. And after the backlash the main actor Nam Yoon-su has been given, I highly doubt a second season. But I love his unapologetic attitute!
