there's that, and also, i don't know about y'all but around starting the last three episodes I started getting so exhausted with the way JokeZo's relationship was imbalanced.
it's always Joke running around doing stuff for Zo and being his emotional pillar, and Zo's just... living life, I guess. it started pissing me off near that point cuz I wanted so bad to see Zo FIGHT for Joke for once, like he did with Wave, but like, a little grander/more emotionally impactful?

Right, they literally acknowledged both were at fault. But I also feel like it's because most of us can see Sand as being a pretty good guy and if you don't happen to like/sympathize with Ray, then... yeah.

Couldn't agree more! I may have a favorite, but I still like all characters. The current influx of Ray hate compared to all other characters rubbed me the wrong way though 💔
I'm always so amazed when series like these, the ones with slice-of-life vibes and just generally low stakes (in the grand scheme of things, obv romance can feel/be high stakes) manage to make me fall in love with it.
Something with a lot of action or drama is easier to get invested in for me at least, but when something like MPW comes along and has me in a chokehold, it's special ❤

We know Ray's an asshole, and he's made an array of mistakes (like 90% of the characters) but this episode proves he's not just some evil caricature. I personally love him, I love SandRay, and you don't get to dictate what others do or don't like in this fictional BL drama.
