It's 'I Feel You Linger In The Air'! The uncut version is on YouTube—and do watch the uncut version, not the cut one lol. It's one of my favorite BLs of all time.
There is something I'd really like an input on from everyone. It's been troubling me for a while and since this…
I struggled with this for many years too, when I was a little younger, I know exactly the comments you're talking about. Nowadays my conclusion is that these people who cry 'fetishize!' or call anyone regardless of gender or orientation disgusting for liking BL are truly just plain old gatekeepers.
Even though they try to hide behind "oh, I'm gay/lesbian/etc so my opinion on your fictional preferences has any weight"—which it doesn't.
If it's fiction, it doesn't matter. Like you mentioned, it's different with real people, but these gatekeepers love inflating that number of people as if it's an actual solid percentage of BL watchers.
And I mean, I thought I was a "cishet woman" for the longest time, but as it turns out, I'm aro-ace and nonbinary. And yet I'm here watching explicit series—make that make sense. Oh, never mind, it does make sense, because BL is fiction.
But anyway, these people who comment or think such things don't know anything about you. And they don't WANT to understand because they just want to be outraged about something; in this case, the poor, poor fictional gays who 'cishet women' ship. Ah, so sad. For these characters. I'm sure Sand, Ray, Boston, Nick, Top, and Mew are all offended and outraged 🙂 Report it to the cyber police, babes.
Hope my comment added something of worth alongside those who have already commented ❤
Ok enough about the CGI tiger, since the finale is upcoming I have to share my actual thoughts.
I'm mainly just disappointed and underwhelmed with this series. Because! I like MaxNat. I think they COULD star in a solid series, their chemistry could carry Nat's bits of inexperience. I don't know whose fault it is—not the actors' tho—but throughout every episode I felt the plot was incomplete almost every step of the way. I've been told the novel explains a lot of the character motivations/inconsistencies, but that doesn't make the adaptation any better obviously.
Anyway those are my actual thoughts. I'd say this series is sadly much like... a soggy piece of toast. I'm much better off watching IFYLITA (please watch it if you aren't doing so yet)
This comment section is funny. The fact that we barely talk about OF as we wait for the next episode but just…
We really did chill out in this comment section, I think it's because we're past the uncertain, shaky middle part of the series. We're approaching the end, it's inevitable no matter what happens in the series. It finally dawned for most that it all really ain't that deep ahaha
The feedback to this series kinda reminds me of the feedback to My Beautiful Man. Both romances are quite unconventional and nontraditional. But I live for these types of romance stories, that are a little crazy, different, very unique. Hope Japan will continue to adapt these BLs that aren't as typical.
crying shaking on the floor is my current mood. The preview for next EP breathed life into my soul like you wouldn't…
With which I mean, that they're reunited for realsies in the last 10 minutes of the last episode. That's the shit I keep expecting to happen nowadays, but with the preview, this doesn't seem to be the case.
The preview for next EP breathed life into my soul like you wouldn't believe tho. I'm very happy they're not making Zong Yi and Jheruei's reunion into a drawn out, dragged out dramatic plot point solved only in the last episode.
After episode 10 I need to update my fave to least fave charactors as if now lol1. Nick and Boston are tied- oh…
Mm gonna add mine too, my first official ranking of characters ❤
1. Ray. Never left, will never leave. 2. Sand. Good man, he's a good man. 3. Mew. Sometimes you gotta go sicko mode. 4. Cheum+April. At least we have one (1) healthy couple. 5. Boston. Darkroom vibes are hot, I can't lie. 6. Top. Mid. 7. Boeing. Outta pocket. 8. Nick. Wiretapping King. 9. Atom. Dethroned Nick.
I think aside Top being tall, rich and a handsome playboy aka Top-tier, and pursuing Mew, he has no other personality.…
The flaws always make a show somewhat endearing, to a point of course haha. For me, SandRay/FirstKhao have stolen the show from the start, both with their chemistry, acting and story. Pray they'll get another series in 2024, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
