Ray can't live without Sand, and Sand can't live without Ray. Do I really need to write an essay on them being addicted to each other when those lines are uttered?!
Would you have the same opinion and be okay with it if it was a straight relationship ? If Yoho and Hira were…
Yes, absolutely. Because they're stories, and stories don't need to follow any standard of morals, good or bad. In fiction, you're free to enjoy reading/watching whatever you like. These are characters, and not real people—so gender doesn't matter. And characters don't have feelings.
I've tried so hard to care & like TopMew but I think in the end I just have to accept the fact that I do not really…
I had the exact same sentiment about TopMew in a comment a day ago and was called rude for saying I don't care about them anymore. Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about them though.
I love that they just let Zong Yi and Ze Rui love each other. Like no weird drama, no dumb miscommunication... which honestly makes me enjoy this series so much more. It has a story it wants to tell, and doesn't need annoying tropes. That's why the episodes are maybe shorter than you'd like, but you have to wonder, if they were longer, what would they add? Unnecessary drama. I love this series and all the actors.
Well TopMew are endgame and are still getting married. After all, TopMew is based on the story of a couple who…
That's fine, great even. But the thing is that I don't care. About their fate. They could break up or get together fr at the end of this series and I'd just 🤷♀️
I'm not very eloquent with my words or feelings so I'm just gonna be straight up with y'all; if SandRay don't end up happy together at the end I'm never rewatching this series again. Maybe you'd call that dramatic, but I swear to God I couldn't care less about TopMew or BostonNick—tho I like the latter more than the former, it's not enough for a rewatch.
Or like I'll rewatch it in five years or something. Sheesh. I very much treasure the journey of weekly watching this series and my time in this comment section, but ask yourself; are you willing to sit through TopMew's mess ever again?
I'm so excited for Zong Yi and Ze Rui's reunion, I can't wait for the next episode. Maybe some good Ai Di and Chen Yi crumbs too, if they finally decide to properly communicate. I love them, but their relationship is the pinnacle of the miscommunication trope to the point that I have surprised myself with the lack of frustration I've felt watching them. Good, believable acting goes a long way.
Err... p-petition... petition for EP 12 to wrap everything up one way or the other, good or bad, but with no loose ends or nonsensical cliffhangers please 👉🏻👈🏻
It's interesting—as a Ray stan—that I mostly remember a lot of people hating Ray and loving Sand instead of…
Agree with 99% of what you're saying! It really is just that I've seen so much Ray hate that I cannot agree with him not getting any shit for his actions by fans not only in this comment section, but on other platforms as well.
It's hard to defend any of the characters, but Sand has the most green flags, I guess, even tho he's my second favorite. At this point, defending any of the main or even the side characters (except Zaddy Dan he can do no wrong) just seems like a disingenuous move.
I'm gonna feel like a veteran after EP 12 who has survived the trenches of this blasted comment section. Still I wish to lovingly give every one of you a headpat, differing opinions or not. We were all quirky lil guys here the past few weeks. And remember; there have been worse comment sections than this one.
Okay a couple of things. 1. I WISH you'd all had this same energy for when Ray was being a dick. But he can do…
It's interesting—as a Ray stan—that I mostly remember a lot of people hating Ray and loving Sand instead of the other way around. Right now we criticize him, but I don't remember any other time Sand has been on the chopping block, whereas Ray apparently does something horrifically wrong every episode. Maybe it's tunnel vision cuz of one's favorite, but that's truly my experience. But it's not yours, which is completely fine. I'm just trying to understand ❤
No user RayofRay (or your new name - Pawatina) - you are not hated in the comments section for defending Ray but…
Oh yeah, they blocked me too, god knows why. Not that I care, block whoever you want. I can still see their comments too, but this has been a problem on MDL for a very long time it seems. They will not be missed, amen.
SandRay Nation, I predict Ray is going to drown Boeing in that swimming pool. No, I do not acknowledge that he's seen later. It's just a visual trick, guys! Because Ray and Sand have drowned him. He's dead.
Ah, that is true, I just can't really help that guilt. I just want the actors to be happy and healthy, and it sometimes feels like even liking fan service moments contributes in a way to them not being happy—if their fan service is forced, of course. Hope that makes sense!
FirstKhao really is a prime example of a fixed pairing that works, they're my personal favorites so I'm glad you pointed them out haha. I like JoongDunk too, as a pairing. But I guess I don't value that mystery of who ends up with who much? I like rooting for actors I love together thru out different series. And the point of classifying something as a romance is that it has to have a happy ending, otherwise it should be labeled a tragedy. Don't know if this industry rigorously holds onto that rule though lmfao
I have seen KinnPorsche! Even though I have mixed feelings about it, I still value it as a mature series and the new tone it set to the industry. There are just so many opportunities when characters aren't in school with the plot and the themes. I'm glad we're finally moving towards more maturity. Not that all school settings are bad, but, ya know... kinda getting tired of it.

But like who names their kid after a plane, that's what I wanna know.
