But ahh I 100% agree with you! I mentioned it in a different comment but with so many characters it's almost impossible to solidly introduce them in one episode—and they just didn't even try! Like they flat out didn't characterize their characters at all. The only "problems" in their lives so far is Nant's disappearance and Zouey's off kilter virgin tendencies. We don't know anything about these characters.

And yeah, it's so true about the last scene, I didn't expect them to have such ulterior motives and frankly I'm here for it.

The bathtub scene felt like they hired a different artsy director for that scene only and then nothing else.

In my opinion, it's lacking in all fronts, but especially the "plot" feels disjointed and all over the place. There's a lot of characters obviously, and so there's not enough time to get me to care for them. I'll watch episode 2 only to give it a fair chance.
There's also quite a few cringe moments which some have commented about before me.

At least Teena was as hot as I hoped he'd be.

I am so ready for the first episode the anticipation is killing me slowly but surely 😭 I am also soo curious about if/when different storylines intertwine. There's definitely some character overlap given the teaser, but I wonder how far that'll go.

When did I say porn was bad? I didn't. It has its place. We are specifically talking about comparing a BL that hasn't even aired yet, to porn. It is something I personally dislike, and that's quite literally all my comment was about.

I wholly disagree with your opinion about porn having good story lines or characters, I think that's disingenuous and simply false, but to each their own, I guess. Not gonna try and argue about taste.

Calling BL porn, softcore or not, has always been a talking point by those outside of the sphere condemning people who watch BL.
It has been used to discredit BL as a whole and to paint watchers as nothing more but perverted freaks.
I'm not arguing that this series and many others aren't sexually explicit, obviously they are. But that was never the point.
Likening BL to porn strips away all nuance. It means that there is not a story, or characters, or emotions.

Look how they massacred my boy! Domundi! Damn it! This is why I don't trust their productions. It may sound harsh but I just cannot get behind Domundi's production "style" of series. I only truly liked Bed Friend and now this happens. I know I'm just ranting, but damn, I was excited for TutorYim.

Sigh. 100% agree with everyone here. I loved TutorYim in Cutie Pie (aka they were literally the best part) and Jade was a solid support character in Bed Friend, but what even is this? They've turned Jade into a fool, and for what? Help????

Those of you already (somehow) likening this series to porn have clearly never seen a snippet of actual porn before. Ugh. Get over yourself.

What a banger of a finale! Will go down as both one of my favorite BLs and one of the best finale episodes for me.
I'm gonna write a raving review sometime later, but for those who check this page out now after all has aired—please give it a try!
It's a solid 9.5 rating for me ❤
I hope all four actors get to act in BL again in the future!
