I totally get that. For me, Japanese and Korean BLs tend to hold a more special place in my heart when they're good. Stuff like the Eighth Sense and My Beautiful Man just have something I haven't come across yet in Thai BLs.

Ohoho, if you're specifically asking my opinion... MSP is a romcom, and while it's good, it's just not for me. I enjoyed Only Friends more--but my personal, very subjective ranking of all the titles you mentioned would be; 1. The Eclipse 2. Only Friends 3. Bed Friend 4. My School President

Honestly I feel like all of the little suspicious moments from Charlie and Jeff are red herrings. It's too easy to connect them to that old man. Then again, we've been disappointed before so often where we think the screenwriters are smarter...
After this EP it's clear that Charlie is more capable than he lets on. Maybe he really is just a super fan of Babe and wants to protect him haha. Just kidding, there's definitely something more to it. Can't say I have any solid theories that haven't been mentioned already though.

Girlies, chemistry between main leads should be present from the very start in a series such as this. Enemy characters can have chemistry, and chemistry isn't the same as romance. It's a psychological connection between characters. Friends and even strangers meeting for the first time can have chemistry, and my earlier comment is about me not seeing any of that between Charlie and Babe. Just wanted to clear that up cause I can already see the misunderstandings from a mile away...

Literally me neither! In interviews Pavel and Pooh are very compatible with their interactions and seem comfortable with each other, but for some reason in the show I can't even believe the characters are remotely attracted to each other.
I mean maybe that's the whole point? That charlie has an ulterior motive and there isn't really any connection…
Sure, I understand that the lack of any romance is part of the plot, but I'm specifically talking about chemistry here. I, personally, in my opinion, IMO, don't feel any type of genuine connection between Babe and Charlie, including liking each other based on a fresh friendship. Even the sexual chemistry doesn't entirely translate to me.
