Initially I liked being pulled back and forth between thinking DS is the killer or accomplice. However, I hope it doesn't continue like that for too much longer as it feels like there's no real shock value left because already within these first few eps it feels played out.
It does feel as though DS is putting up with everyone's 20 yr long suspicions of him and in order to find the true culprit he'll even allow himself to be caught as the killer. When we see him doing murderery things feels like editing misdirection for the audience. Like, since he was accused of the murders and had to go to the crime scenes and reenact everything he'll also even now try to get into the mind of the murderer by picturing himself doing everything even to this day.
I highly doubt (but also really hope) that he's not the killer. A Jekyll and Hyde situation would be kinda obvious and annoying for this storyline...
I kinda wish we got to see more of his life 20 years ago instead of these glimpses we've gotten , but I have to believe its in order to intentionally make us suspect whether DS is the murderer because we are continuing to get to know his character.
hi, as someone not watching this, i'm confused by the synopsis? so is the romance gay? is it queerbaiting? or…
The main character talked about parallel life and reincarnation in episode 5. So my theory is that Bong Hwan is the future reincarnation of So Yong. There is only one soul, just reincarnated into a different gender in next life and Bong Hwan is gradually receiving more and more memories from his past life as the plot continues.
The one that Cheol Jong is falling in love with right now is the male personality of Bong Hwan. Also Bong Hwan is feeling more and more comfortable being in a woman’s body now and is having romantic feelings towards Cheol Jong. So very likely the main character will be a mix of Bong Hwan & So Yong characters together as he will have memories from both of those lives.
Do you guys have any theories on who the female blind servant and the masked male servant with the scar are and how they'll play into the story? Surely they're not related to the king or the coup involving his family right? You'd think they'd kill off anyone who could possibly incriminate them?
