i watched a show called chicago fire and i’m used to this sudden deaths, deaths that sometimes don’t even make any sense. but they’re all supporting leads, not a main lead like dojin.. i really want to believe that he’s alive but it’s really hard to bc we clearly saw him being autopsied. if he’s not alive, i don’t them to forget his character and i want a VALID reason for them to kill off dojin.

of course and i’ll be glad to see other cases, rather than the arsonist. but it would be so dumb if they killed dojin like that and found out who the arsonist was in a short period of time. i get that dojin left the candle clue, but it really was that easy for them to know who he was? we clearly see that he’s a professional arsonist and that the new nfs guy has a connection to him… it wouldn’t be that easy to that old man to be the arsonist. i think it’s a bait

I don’t think he’s the arsonist. i think he has another reason to attack seol like that…. it’s impossible for him to be the arsonist. if it was that easy, dojin wouldn’t be dead by trying to find out more about him. and he wouldn’t be that careless to be caught like that. maybe that old man is used as a bait

I can't remember clearly, but didn't he had the ring box in the locker? since she was cleaning, maybe she saw the box and connected the two dots.

dojin is “dead” and the arsonist is probably the old guy at the end, but how can they continue for more 9 episodes? i’m quite sure that this will have a big plot twist. don’t forget that we also see hogae in the morgue in the season’s highlight and i don’t believe that he’s dead like that (because without two main leads, this will not make any sense). so i think they’ll fake the whole hogae death and probably they faked dojin’s death too? because I can’t even believe it… but the fact that he saw him thru the autopsy, it makes me believe that he’s really dead, unfortunately.

it’s too good to be true 🥲 but let’s not forget the fact that dogae appears in the morgue too in the season’s highlights and I DOUBT that he dies like that. so if he’s really alive, dojin can be alive too. and let’s not forget that the arsonist target is the firefighters, maybe dojin. so maybe they worked together (police, firefighters and nfs) to fool the arsonist by making him believe that he’s dead…. i think this is just me being delusional

i have no words to describe how i feel right now. i knew this was happening since the last episode, but did that mean I was ready to see all of this? no. i feel sick to my stomach after seeing this outcome to dojin’s character. he was the one who wanted so badly to catch the arsonist and he was trying so hard to gather some evidence. he deserved so much more, he was a sweetheart to everyone and he deserved to be happy. i cried so much that my head hurts so badly. and no, i’ll not drop this drama after this. i believe they’ll gain a bigger range to catch the arsonist and get their revenge. you’ll never be forgotten, bulldozer.

p.s. and the fact that he sacrificed himself to save the other firefighters, tells a LOT about his value.

but the scenes of dojin, in the 4th teaser, were already aired.. we already saw every scenes that were shown :(

based on the season’s highlights, kisoo is alive, so it’s not him on the autopsy table. we have to gaslight ourselves into believe that the writers wouldn’t kill off dojin like this. and i hope you’re not correct with hogae backing off like that, i just wanna see a little bit romance between them too, even if it’s just a little bit.

i keep coming back to this comments to see any theories about episode 3. this 1 week wait has made me so anxious!!!

I also thought about the coma plot. I mean, it would make sense too bc he doesn’t appear in the trailer that much and it would be a reason for them to get their revenge. but it doesn’t explain the morgue scene 🥲

i had the same theory as you, before I checked the season 2 highlights. Kisoo, Dojin’s partner, appears a lot in the season 2 highlights, along Seol and other firefighters. That means that he doesn’t die in this scene. Also, we saw Kisoo, close to a door when the explosion happened, it wouldn’t make any sense for him to be the person who walked towards the firefighters. We also have the part where the captain was talking to HoGae, saying that the person who got in the ambulance wasn’t badly hurt and then, his teammates called him bc someone appeared. The captain and his teammates know who Dojin is, and their reactions aren’t very bad (so it might not be Dojin there), but the captain didn’t know who it was. I mean, it wouldn’t make any sense if Dojin dies like this. because as you said, he talked with that new character on the phone and now, we saw him linked to the fire scene. and he also, appears a lot in the highlights, making part of NFS team. So he’s somehow related to all of this. And I need Dojin to be the one who unfolds all of this.
