the only time people could get away with a cover up like this is if they have ties to people with power. some of the folks behind the scenes are related to people in the CCP and billionaires.

i am only watching it for zhao lusi. she deserves the support from all that she went through with her agency. good thing his role is minor and not important. however, i still curse whenever he comes on screen.
