Just my opinion. As @sal09 said below, their lie is like a dark cloud hanging over their head. it should be cleared first. So exposing the lie & separation are needed. A letter for tk would be better, but the writer loves to torture the lead lol. If tk hides yd somewhere and they keep contacting each other, imo, it doesn’t “clear” anything because if inok somehow finds out about that, she will accuse them (especially yd) lying or betraying her again. Inok wants a complete separation. “You make me sick. I loathe you and your baby. SO PLEASE GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE. STAY OUT OF MY LIFE AND TK’S.” She said that to yd. And that’s what exactly yd did. She cut ties from them all. maybe it’s also her way to relieve her feeling of guilt toward them especially inok. It’s painful, yes, especially for her family and tk. But it gives a new beginning. The dark cloud has gone now. They can start again from zero. No lie no guilt anymore. No one can interfere their relationship. They have suffered enough. They can use it as a weapon to fight their family later.

i said, in this drama problem is solved faster. it's just need at least 4 or 6 eps to get resolved. for weekend drama standard, it's pretty fast.

family/weekend drama is different from usual 16/20 eps k-drama from many aspects. that's why i never expect to much from weekend drama about the logic or whatever from the beginning. i just go with the flow as long as i like the lead. of course viewers in general may be feel frustrated because of the villain. but that's how family drama is nowadays. i fully aware of that, so that's why i don't think much about the villain. trhc story isn't that spectacular, but for me, at least, the story is pretty fine to watch.
Why is the rating so low tho 8.1 seriously? I haven't seen anyone complaining about the drama why is it at 8.1?

And why are you comparing a drama with a wife beaten/killed by husband? Its weird comparation... I just stated the fact. I watched that drama on going so i knew what was going on between the viewers. Many people expressed their dissatifaction & disappointment about the script. The plot was waayy more draggy. A problem needed more than 10 eps to get resolved with multiple dna test again & again until the viewers were sick of it. Fans also expressed their disappointment & said their fave actor deserve better script than that drama could offer, the drama really wasted the actor talent etc.
At least none of the lead's fans or other actor's fans said so in this drama. Problem is resolved faster. Trhc still has many positive reaction from viewers eventho the story isnt perfect & lack here & there.

i watch this drama because of baek jin hee & ahn jae hyun. and i'm familiar with family/weekend drama with 50 eps. for me trhc has better story line compare to previous drama! i can imagine you'll scream your lung out & give your never ending complain if you watch that drama.
