i have a general idea, but considering how there's been hateful actions and claims done by fans from both sides, i wouldn't take any of the rumors seriously.
don't get too deep into the situation for peace of mind! just support all the cast and staff for the efforts they poured into the show.
i was just thinking this. the release date is only a couple days from now on, but we all know that international fans will have to wait longer than that 🤧
i just rewatched the yaobei garden scene and OH MY GOSH i'm in SHAMBLES again just like how i was the first time i saw it. i can't wait to rewatch this show a few years later when i've really forgotten 99% of it so i can love it for the second time.

i know, i was a bit disappointed by this too.
in the beginning episodes, i didn't mind that much because li yifei had his own share of flaws like weaponizing incompetence and not contributing to basic chores around their apartment. but at least he got character development later on! sad that qian fei stayed stagnant 😓
the chemistry between wang churan and tan jianci made it up for it though — for the most part, in my opinion. haha
not scary but unsettling and creepy (yes those words have different meanings for me).
although the plot and characters are cliche, the way they presented the story made it a worthy watch. the VR inclusion was pretty cool. cecillia chou's acting deserves an applaud. definitely one of the better horror movies that i've seen.
would've loved a deeper backstory on liu hsin.
(also, why was ah-sheng was aura farming in almost every scene LMAO)
Why r they releasing interviews before drama on air? Also I see it's reservation are not increasing much rapidly…
to be honest, i'm not surprised. there were a lot of fanwars from both sides. 😓 but don't worry! i have faith the production and actors/actresses will show us that it's a drama worthy of getting good stats, even if it ends up not getting it. quality is better than quantity.

i've never watched HL or YAMG, but i did see many say that this drama is similar. give it a try and see if it's up your alley!
