Am I the only Untamed fan who chuckled at the "Everyday" shirt? This show is so good on so many levels. Sea is doing a wonderful job of acting as a vision impaired person. I have to assist my mother in the same way when we go out in public, and that mild panic in unfamiliar situations is so true. After a lifetime of seeing, losing your vision is a scary thing. I wondered if Sea is wearing some sort of vision restricting contact lenses, or is he just that good of an actor? To hold his eyes in a fixed place is not easy when your instinct is to follow movement.

I was thinking that too. It's like the makeup people have never seen a real scar.

We spoke too soon! They actually did that in ep 2: Middlemans Love. Mai fell & landed on Jade's lips. I give up on that show...

If anything, they should call it the Alphverse - no omegas in sight as yet.

Off topic, but I have just finished a Chinese novel called The Missing Piece, and it is really good even though it has an amnesia based plotline. The thing is, if there is ever a Thai drama based on this book I could see Meen and Ping as the leads. Meen as Ji Mingxuan the pining businessman in love with the recovering Shen Mo (Ping) who has PTSD after a vicious attack and injuries. Somehow when I was reading the book, I was seeing their faces!

Episode 2 wasn't as bad as #1, but it was still pretty bad. The scenes were often disjointed and didn't not flow evenly, and some of it doesn't make sense. Also too many tired tropes.
1) Jade still yelling his lines when everyone is talking at normal volume
2) What is with the whole haunted building thing. It seems like a dumb excuse to have grown men screaming like little girls.
3) Mai falling on Jade's lips - seriously, are they still doing that?
4) The background actors standing around like mannequins when the focus is not on them
5) The world's most boring karoake 'party'
6) King suddenly on a mission to get Mai drunk, when he had been sitting there like a waxwork up until that point - why?
7) (Sober)Jade throwing up because he saw (drunk) Mai's bare chest. Even Minato wasn't that extreme.
I've read both book - Bed Friend and Middleman's Love, but I don't think the scriptwriters have!

Well, that was painful. I have never been so disappointed with the beginning of a series. I absolutely loved Bed Friend and looked forward to this continuation of their stories...but wtf! They nearly lost me with the stupid animated opening sequence, in fact I wondered if I had the right show on. it didn't get any better. I liked Jade in BF, but this guy is a complete idiot who you would not hire in a responsible position in any way, shape or form. He is even more cringy than the guy in Be Mine Superstar. The weird facial expressions and the way he has to yell every line of dialogue...Is it even the same screenwriter as Bed Friend, or the same director? I will watch ep 2 to see if it settles down, but if not, sadly I will be dropping this. I feel totally let down.

It's a wonder they haven't outlawed stairs! Every show, the cute one trips & falls down the last three steps just in time to be caught 'princess' style by the hero. At least they seem to have stopped the trope of falling and landing on someone's lips!

I'm not sure if I will keep going with this. Too much like Double Savage where Film caused all the trouble and came between the two brothers (Ohm & Perth). Now she is in the love triangle with Ohm & Nani. Maybe she just isn't my favourite actress, but the 'innocent act' is too contrived in both roles.

I found the same thing in the comments for Shadow - the same people asking over and over again "is it BL?". Completely obsessive. They need to be able to enjoy a show for what it is - BL or not. Don't get me wrong, I love BL as much as anyone, but I can also enjoy the actors in other roles. It is a weird attitude that in Western media, a straight actor can play a gay role without that taking over his life (Brokeback Mountain), but in Asian dramas a BL actor is expected to give fan service and to only act with his on screen partner forever more. The poor guys want, and need to stretch their acting wings, and should be encouraged by all their fans.

I must have missed that. I thought there was a scene where Juan told a dying Zhang Teng that he was stupid and that he loved him, and then closed his eyes after he died. I'll have to ge back and look again. I wondered what happened to Juan. Is he in prison or is he still out there looking for revenge? Or is he dead too?

Yeah, but she is sleeping with the homophobic bully, so she is morally compromised from the start.

I think the problem for gay teachers is that there is a truly ignorant sub-set of people who equate gay with pedophilia and think they should have no contact with children. Unfortunately the things that have been revealed about Catholic priests (not all) in teaching positions has not helped.

My only quibble with the weed smoking was that the 'joint' apparently came from a 'hermit in the woods' - who makes tailor-made joints complete with cork filters??? Please...

I just wish the makeup artists would give them 'bruises' elsewhere. Every time there is a punch, the receiver has the same red mark beside the left side of their mouth. It's the same in every drama.

From some angles he reminds me of Meen - Ai in Ai Long Nhai, or our current Gangster Oppa.

I'm not sure either. In the book the Yai in 2023 is a descendant of the family and is closer to 30 than 20. Here it seemed as if it was 1927 Khun Yai magically appearing in the future. I really hope they do season 2 with Commander Yai.
