I am still watching this, in a bemused kind of way. What genre are they aiming for? Is it a comedy, drama or melodrama. The switch between scenes is jarring, but I am curious to see where it goes. Overall, it is not making a lot of sense so far. I love that Nunew has matured since CP, and is holding his own as an actor. I wish Nat would control his face a bit better - that weird upturned lip simper-y expression is cringy. He is actually good looking when he is not pulling this face.

In the novel, 1920's Khun Yai had a bittersweet fate. He found out that Jom was from another time and that he would be leaving at some point. Jom told him everything he could to protect the family - about WW2, natural disasters in Bangkok etc, and Khun Yai could make some wise financial and personal decisions that ensured the future of the family. He never married, but became the favorite Uncle head of the family. He knew Jom was out there somewhere, loving him, and that they would meet again, even in another life.

Maybe it is a reflection of South Korea's concern about their falling birth rate. 😁

I just realised this is part of the Lost Tomb series. I hope it is a good script, because some of that series have been a bit hit or miss.

I suppose we should be thankful that Zo wasn't wearing his rope belt.

My question is - did the wardrobe budget not extend to an iron for their shirts? or is being unkempt (even at a debate competition) part of Joke's persona?

In the first couple of minutes of ep 11, I was about to jump to get my phone because Zo has got the same ringtone as my alarm!

I will definately rewatch this show, but I will fast forward ALL hockey related scenes now that I know they have nothing to do with the actual story.

Most of the actors were aged down for this show, but I find it ironic that hockey girl, who spends most of her time berating her sister for dating a younger man, is 29 in real life, while hockey boy is only 27.

They could have left them out of the episode entirely and none of us would have noticed, or cared.

I just re-read the synopsis at the top of this page, and I'm not sure they watched the same show the rest of us did...

I couldn't believe that THAT trio got more than half the screen time for the last episode. No-one wanted to see their happy endings, just the main 2 couples who had their stories kind of rushed at the end.

I looked at the cast list and it looks like our cute little Jigsaw from Our Skyy2 has a guest role at some point.

He's definately grown up since Cutie Pie.

Only hockey girl made a mercifully brief appearance. No uncle, no hockey boy. Phew!

In a purely selfish way, I'm glad it is, because I am going into hospital in a couple of days and it would kill me to have to wait a week or more for the last couple of episodes.
