I just looked up those actors. Jian Shuang's actress is only billed as a guest role, but Hao JunJie's actor is a support role? One must have a better agent than the other one...🤣

That's how I feel - like there are 2 scriptwriting teams. Some people have commented that the hockey kids are being promoted for future dramas. I don't know about hockey girl, but the boy is Xiao Zhan's replacement in JOL2.

You are right. There is much to love in this drama. If they had concentrated on Sheng Yang and Jian Bing's developing realtionship, kept it as a workplace drama, it would be excellent. The scenes of the design studios and the filming scenes, in fact showing all the creative processes they do is very good. The relationship of Pan Rou and Song Chen is a delight to watch develop. Sheng Yang's parents are a mix of excellent and equally annoying, but they are good characters. If they had tightened the script, cut out unneeded characters (looking at hockey trio), they would have had a tight, well told story in less than 30 episodes.

I beg to differ. You connect with a person by TALKING to them, not trying to force them into a relationship with someone they have no interest in.

The mother obsessing over dating apps seems out of place & shoehorned in to create tension. Surely no-one would be that insistent with someone who is barely a friend, an aquaintence at best. I know SY's mum wants to be friends, but it still seems overly pushy.

Whoever wrote their parts should not be allowed to write a script ever again. It is like we are watching 2 different shows - one really good, and one really bad. I mean at the end of ep 29 Jian Bing has gone to her room in a different section and clueless uncle is just standing outside, hanging around the gate to his own room??? I hope he freezes to death.

I seriously hope someone does an edit excluding them. The show would be so much better, and probably only 25 episodes long!

No he's not a child. My youngest son is that age & he is a fully functioning adult who got married last weekend.

I'm convinced that the claw machine makers are major sponsors of all Asian dramas, not just Thailand.

I know!!!! I am part way through ep 29 and I'm just about yelling at the screen. After ep 26 & 27 which were perfect - why are they doing this to us & inflicting the school trio on us again. I hate them so much!!

But that doesn't mean she should be meddling in his love life. Make this a real world situation, and it would be extremely inappropriate for a student to be trying to set up a teacher. I think they are going for comic relief, but it is still uncomfortable.

It's not really JB's family life though. She and her sister live totally independant lives. They have a 16 year age gap, so they are different generations. It's just that she bails her sister out when she's in trouble and gives her a place to stay after her injury, but in reality they have very little to do with each other's lives - all the more reason for hockey girl to butt out of her sister's love life.
