It makes a lot of sense if you remember the time travel aspect of the story. Jom in the 1920's is meeting Yai for the first time in his timeline, but Yai remembers Jom from his 1800's life, (which is still in the 'future' for Jom), and why he seems to be immediately in love with him. Not confusing at all. In all three time periods, Yai is wonderful, Ohm is a selfish POS, Jom just goes with the flow but loves Yai intensely, and Ming is just the best person.

I think we can all agree that we are in love with Khun Yai.

Fun fact - hockey boy is Xiao Zhan's replacement as Yan Bing Yun in Joy of Life 2.

I don't usually fast forward scenes in the shows I watch, but I have been skipping the ice hockey scenes. They are so unnecessary to the whole story. Someone commented that they (producers, backers?) were trying to promote ice hockey, I don't know why. And it is probably coincidence that Xiao Zhan promoted the ice hockey for the last Winter Olympics. As a side comment - if JB is 36 but her sister is still in high school - isn't THAT too much of an age gap??

I'm sure he could bring his real life insights to the character, which makes Shen Yang all the more relateable.

It's the little things. Small details are important. With fingernails, the lady's maid in I Feel You Linger In The Air set in 1927 has got modern gel nails, and in The Untamed Wen Qing has got a polished manicure. It really stands out that they are out of place.

Just to play devil's advocate for a moment, I know people think it is great to have a girl kicking a** on a men's team and that women can be as good as men... but in reverse, out in the real world people are fighting very real battles to keep biological men out of women's sport, both for their unfair physical advantages and the risk of injury to the women. So it is a slippery slope to promote how good it is to have a girl as the captain of a men's team, if you see what I'm getting at. No hate intended to any athletes.

In episode 11 (12?) the husband says to her "I know you've had a crush on me since middle school", so my question is - what is her secret to eternal youthful looks????

I understand that he is quite poor, but I would have thought that having a corporate job where he has to deal with clients who are paying a lot for the advertising services, that there would be a higher dress code. PS - that is why I liked having a uniform at my last job, because it takes the pressure off having to dress up every day.

In a moment of whimsy, over on Youtube comments, a few of us concocted the ideal scenario for season 2 - Chan would continue with his career as a morally grey lawyer, with a bit of social justice thrown in, Tinn would become his private investigator, and Nawin would be their security/bodyguard who has a series of increasingly chaotic boyfriends in an effort to make Chan jealous. Perfect, right?

That's on my 'to be watched' list.

Don't yell at me because I love The Untamed, but ep 5 - his presentation had Cloud Reccesses vibes, with the cloud patterns and the bunnies, and a definate WWX moment at the end "extra chillis". But seriously, I really like this show so far. I'm sure Xiao Zhan could get totally into the mindset of Sheng Yang, because he has lived that life for real, job wise I mean. I like the FL and the pacing of the story. I have even gotten over my annoyance at the female intern & his workmate - they should totally end up together! The supervisor is a piece of work, but the boss seems to be aware of his style. OK, on to ep 6...

If they ever want to make a supernatural/vampire themed show, I think Film, with Chan's smile would make an excellent vampire. Beautiful and threatening at the same time.
