I watched the uncut version at 1:03:56. The TV version only has 44:16 minutes. That's a lot cut out!

After loving ep 1 I read the book so I'm a little bit confused with this episode. It looks like they have combined the households of Khun Yai's father and the 'foreign master' Robert. In the book they don't have as much to do with each other, as Khun Yai's family is more old Thai aristocracy, just that they have adjoining properties. But here Jom is working with the servants of Robert's household? Maybe it will become clearer as we go. Other than that, I love this series, and Khun Yai is just gorgeous.

As long as he publicly issues a retraction to the pedo accusation. That shit has life-long consequences.

At the risk of being yelled at by everyone, I did not like Zon and Saifah as a couple. I found them to be cringy and fake. Sorry.

All I can say is, there better not be another show this year with a fake fiancee...

The head pat was what infuriated people the most in 2gether, so it must be a thing in Thailand as well. Every scene where a kiss would have been natural, there was a head pat.

It makes me nervous that Disney is producing Korean dramas. I seriously hope they are not the kiss of death for kdrama that they have become for their home grown shows.

A blink and you'll miss it moment that made me laugh - we know what Nuea's family is like with their lack of boundaries, yet when they made it to the bedroom for their sexy time, they left the door wide open. In one of the opening shots of that scene you can see the 'jungle' background outside.

She totally gives off selfish spoiled little rich girl vibes, who has never been told NO or to consider other people's feelings.

It is definately not a long term solution. We know that as soon as they get married the parents are going to start pressuring for grandchildren, and so it goes on...

Update - I spent yesterday binge reading the novel, and I love the scope of the story. I am very excited to see the upcoming episodes.

I haven't watched the cut version, but I have to wonder what they have left out because the cut version is 45:29 minutes and the uncut version is 1 hour and 11 minutes.

Nah, people here seem to like it, but I can't get through the first episode. Way too childish and illogical for me.

I think the father's 'concern' is that if Tan is out from under his control, he could do something to hurt his political ambitions. He does not understand his son's character at all.
