The MDL rating do have meaning in a sense, because YouTubers make videos on the most popular series / worst series of the year based on the MDL ratings, and some of the results are just plain wrong...

Every show, every drama, there is always someone lurking outside a door or window, listening to other people's conversations.

By the way, I agree that Trapped was one of the best shows in the history of BL.

HIStory5 was beyond terrible and stupid, and the fact that they doubled down on the step-brothers from 4 by making them the guest stars as a married couple/wedding planners - vomit inducing.

Sorry to spoil your watching, but he plays an young man totally obsessed with his step-brother, who gets him drunk & SA him, then gaslights him into thinking it was what the brother wanted. I found it SO uncomfortable that by the end they are shown as a happy couple. I know a lot of people like the show, but I will never rewatch it.

I know we are supposed to hate the roles and not the actors, but as soon as the gaslighting, r*pey step brother from HIStory 4 showed up as the architect boss I had a bad feeling...

If you think this is the worst, what did you think of the first episode of My Idol? That is 9 minutes of absolutely nothing. There doesn't appear to be a plot, no BL or chemistry, nothing. Plus for a show that looks like only 2 episodes, there is over an hour of OST on YouTube?

Well who would have thought it was a good idea to create a 10 episode series with the main plot point being erectile disfunction? Especially to play it as a comedy - I'm sure it isn't a funny subject for those men in real life who suffer from this...

That isn't a 'preference', that is a personality trait. I don't think anyone would CHOOSE to be asexual, and it is totally selfish to expect your partner to live a sexless existence unless it is something the two of you have discussed and agreed upon certain rules before living together.

This is the first time I have seen Zheng Yunlong in a dramatic role. I am more familiar with his work in musical theatre. He has a very powerful voice and is often 'partnered' with Ayanga (and there is the opinion that these 2 are together in real life and have been partners for over a decade)

Now for the important question - what did they do to that bottle of skincare product that made it explode all over the studio? And why was the 'dummy' bottle safer?

I enjoyed this series. There are so many good characters, the humour feels natural and unforced (and no cringy sound effects). I think it is deliberately unclear who is an exact reincarnation (Vee) and who is just a look alike (Wat and the doctor). I liked the character of Juu, it was so good to see an unproblematic female character. I am not familiar with Daou's acting style in the past, but here he portrays the stillness and dignity of someone who has been alive for 120+ years. His measured deliberate way of speaking actually reminds me of Mile (KP).

Thanks for the info. I don't speak either language, but years of viewing have made me able to distinguish the sounds, so I'm glad I wasn't imagining it!
