This is the first time I have seen Zheng Yunlong in a dramatic role. I am more familiar with his work in musical theatre. He has a very powerful voice and is often 'partnered' with Ayanga (and there is the opinion that these 2 are together in real life and have been partners for over a decade)

Now for the important question - what did they do to that bottle of skincare product that made it explode all over the studio? And why was the 'dummy' bottle safer?

I enjoyed this series. There are so many good characters, the humour feels natural and unforced (and no cringy sound effects). I think it is deliberately unclear who is an exact reincarnation (Vee) and who is just a look alike (Wat and the doctor). I liked the character of Juu, it was so good to see an unproblematic female character. I am not familiar with Daou's acting style in the past, but here he portrays the stillness and dignity of someone who has been alive for 120+ years. His measured deliberate way of speaking actually reminds me of Mile (KP).

Thanks for the info. I don't speak either language, but years of viewing have made me able to distinguish the sounds, so I'm glad I wasn't imagining it!

Is it just me, or do some of the characters appear to be speaking Mandarin while the others are speaking Thai?

Look at the series description above, then look at the show we are actually getting. I am firmly convinced (given the really long wait time to get this show aired) that they filmed two different scripts and the editors have been trying to shoehorn scenes from each into one series and that it why it it is so disjointed and illogical.

It was the preview for Jack and Joker that made me go back & watch Love Mechanics. I am looking forward to the new show. I love War's smile. And off topic, his pottery making videos are so soothing and satisfying to watch.

I'm late to the party, just watching it now. I am so annoyed by Khim in ep2. Why on earth takes the photos of innocent customers in a coffee shop & posts them on an LGBT website? That is not funny, but a massive invasion of privacy, not to mention potentially libelous. I know it is not a serious drama, but still...

Rewatching for the third time. I like this show and YinWar. I know Vee and Ploy both cheated, but she was the one who wanted a break. That's why by episode 6 I am ready to strangle Yiwaa who is deliberately being a cockblocking bitch and seems to be on Ploy's side, even though she knew she had another boyfriend but she didn't know about Mark and Vee. I am hating that smug smile every time she seperated them & tried to push Mark with Nuea.

I know. Just me overthinking again.

I have seen many comments critisizing the police procedure aspects of the show, but let's be real, we have seen far worse in many US police procedurals. My bug-bear is Mayris the female head of forensics who wears those damn earbuds in every briefing meeting. She claims to be able to lip read, which would be no help at all when people are talking behind her, or beside her, or multiple people at once, and she never moves her head in anyone's direction, just stares straight ahead. Aarrgh!

Not every female character. While I was watching Cherry Magic today, I thought that Jan is always a delight in every show she is in. Always the best female friend.

I wondered if she was actually in league with the doctor, as the timing of her reappearance and her determination to stick to Phaya is suspect.

I loved the UK original. I have just discovered there is this Korean remake. Definately going on the 'to be watched' list.
