I was prepared to hate her to start with, as she seemed to be the little spoilt rich girl who wouldn't take no for an answer, but thank goodness they gave her character growth (and SC).

I really liked that she looked as genuinely happy to see him as he was to see her. Up until this episode it felt a bit like he was the enthusiastic one about the relationship but she was a bit more reserved.

The story is actually very good. If you haven't started watching yet, just be prepared to use the fast-forward button any time the ice hockey trio come on. Take them out, and it is a good show.

Seriously, they would make me want to sell the house and move without leaving a forwarding address!

They should have given PR & SC as much, if not more, screen time than the hockey brats. At least they are relevant to the main story - and a very cute couple with a cute arc.

I was gobsmacked that ep 32 opened with that damned uncle turning up at the hospital. TAKE A HINT MAN!!! If I was JB I would have been running for the nearest exit when he started with the "I know we are just friends, but when my nephew goes overseas you will be my ONLY friend". He is now becoming a serious creep and stalker.

GMMTV needs to do more adult type dramas. Some of these actors are definately getting too old to still be dressing in high school shorts. One shot of Marc looked ridiculous. They must have a warehouse full of those navy blue shorts. Even though we are mostly over university dramas as well, at least the characters are supposed to be in their early 20's.

Maybe it's in the company policy that their female actors have to be given X amount of screentime, so they shoehorn them in where they can.

They sometimes do it in (smaller?) Australian homes to create the illusion of an ensuite for the main bedroom, but the door on the other side is for the rest of the family. Both doors are lockable from within the bathroom for privacy.

Nothing to do with SBMS, just me - I've got three adult sons and I've had them all living me at different times of their lives, after break-ups, job losses, rental situations. At this moment they are all married & have their own families, but I would hate to think that I wouldn't offer them a sanctuary if they were down on their luck. The only thing I draw the line at is if drug use is involved.

I saw part of the Sina interview today and he said he was first offered the script in 2019 and was keen, but by the time came around to make the drama (2022) he was worried he wouldn't be able to play 26 and cute, but the production people convinced him, thank goodness.

I'm getting the feeling that the relationship between JB's father and mother wasn't good, so maybe that messed up the sister from a young age, but still, the sister says she doesn't want love but she is hell bent on getting her sister a man?

When he talked about 'guiding her back to her true path' I was wtf? It makes it sound as if he thinks she is going out getting drunk & getting laid every night, and needs to be guided back to a 'decent' life. Mind you, as a divorced woman she would have every right to do those things and it would be nobody's business but hers.

I know they are completely different characters, but I like Sheng Yang way more than Dr Gu in OOL. SY seems so natural and personable. I know what you mean about XZ BEING SY, not just another version of himself. I notice many Chinese actors completely take on their roles, as opposed to eg Tom Cruise is Tom Cruise in every movie he makes.

I commented further down that SY has got the drive and talent and he wants to prove himself to be as good as JB and be a success in his career. He doesn't want to be her toyboy and live off her money. I hate that everyone else is assuming that he wants to use her, from the ex to her sister to his mother.
