I watched till ep8 and the comments here making me wonder whats going on... all are so upset with the FL. I think ever since the first episode she asked him, dont you recognise me, and he brushed her off sarcastically, she must be doing things to annoy him or make him accept her.... Is it possible?????

Actually first time I saw the FL in "Flourish in Time" with Zhang Ling He, which was such a good drama. I couldn't believe its the same person here... very different she looks in this drama...
She is not portrayed a lot. A pity that you drop. We see more the leads.Update: Just do fast forward on her part…
I just reached ep4.. I am happy unlike other dramas where sisters's take the bride's place there are so much drama, here its very open and direct... really enjoying... so far.!
Just started... looked pretty interesting... then I saw the dowager... Jeez bcoz of her character in "Best Choice Ever" I couldnt continue, had to drop, gave me heartburn.. !! So I hope she wont take up all the happiness from this drama also...!!
Its a pleasure to watch Liu Jun as a good father... after such an reliable and biased one in Minglan... Both mother and father are good...here! FL was too good in Minglan too... I wanted to see how she will do as an FL... Miles is always the soft spoken hero...!

I dont think you will regret, they seriously are powerful... to change our mind to love and support them.... Ep 18... they have a encounter....! Then in Ep 23 and by Ep 25 we might slowly start having a melting moment....! We will start looking out for their encounter... and we realise they always had a softness towards each other...! It takes way lot more episodes before they get together...
Esp if you remember in EP 11, when all going for the exams with a lot of fanfare... GT came walking... and Xiatao said how come he comes walking not even riding a horse... The she replies, if he wanted to show off, even Duke house wont be able to get anywhere near... (something to that meaning) which shows she did regard him highly...! A kind of gratefulness initially....!
I am watching this from 2021, believe me I always come back.. and keep watching bits and pieces.. this is an amazing creation.... The Director must be appreciated managing such a huge cast... and each details....to perfection.
I can't consider him as a worthy competition to HT he shouldn't be in the picture in the first place but they…
I know in the next few episodes.. everything will be alright... its just the story in the drama was shown her as an immature person. I hate when one character become unreasonable and breaks off.. bcoz here I thought they were more mature....!!
And another thing i really liked is HT saying love is match or somethin to that effect. I will agree with that 100% you need a person with same wavelength, you are in sync and share the same perspective, otherwise believe me you will not be able to have a proper conversation... which is most important in life together. I was very impressed when he said that... usually dramas doesnt say that. Which shows how much he respects or values her...! sadly she was too emotional...!

HT is more serious and very professional... He had a crush on her in school and send her a message, and since she didnt reply... He went on focusing more on business studies.... Where as FL is more free.. been in love for 4 years, and when he broke off she was heart broken for few days, then for winning a bet she offered herself to HT, who loved her dearly... I am assuming she must have loved him to do that.... Of course in their heated argument she defined love to him... as, "You will die for me and with out me your world will collapse" ...but her world didnt collapse when she walked off.. i see only he is breaking apart...
Now when she heard rumors she blamed the whole thing on HT, she feels its her right to know all company secrets, at least she felt she deserved that for staying with him, then walked away... brooding for few days... then happily moved on....
