The Drama Double mainly about treatment by their loved ones... or betrayal by their loved ones... and how each person reacts differently....! Jiang Li was such a kid.. when her Step mom put her in a nunnery in the mountains.. and her father didnt investigate or never gave a second thought. Ji Shouran the step mother was used by her father to achieve his greedy ambitions... when she conned herself into Jiang family... Fang Fei was crestfallen by her loving husband's treachery.. Wanning was send for building relation with Dai... as a hostage princes.. where she was treated terribly and her father or family never bothered to check.. Jiang Ryuan's used by her boyfriend whom she stole from Jiang Li, but she was spoiled by her mother.... there goes the long list.... Whats with the emperor marrying his father's concubine... did I hear that correctly????
SYR is a study...! IMO, I think if the mother didnt drug and spoil her reputation.. He might not have killed XFF..... he must have kept her as the concubine and made the princess main wife... thats having the cake and eating it toooo...! bcoz in his weird way... he loved XFF. But Wanning didnt trust him, so she didnt wait.. but threatened his mother... Mother's greed was mountain high she jumped at the opportunity...
I just started watching from beginning.. i really liked the beginning episodes so much.. even the first look exchanged by Duke Su and XFF.... !!
BTW... the actor Liang Yong Qi was too good. Sad villains never get any glory for their acting....lol!! Wanning first time i saw her in Bad kids.. she was Chao Yang's Stepmom...
Today I started with ep 37, I don't think any drama could make my blood boil this much as i was feeling light headed... my God..! Wanning... ! was tooo much... with her husband...!
Now that I completed... I feel last episode... was pretty mild... the fights lacked.. I have no idea.. why they killed off both Lu Ji and Wei Ji.. its like an after thought.. lets kill off some people...!! Evnthough we all loved both, I dont think anyone felt near the pain you felt when Tonger died.. !!
Yurong and Wanning are the best character creations by the author to hold the show... they brought the tension and thrill...! Once she died.. it fizzled.. btw what was the back story of Yurong... why he wanted revenge... for his father..??
Jiang Li... The first look from the balcony high up at Duke Su, she is telling her maid, lets not catch his attention, Yurong said he is an arrogant and cruel man.... lol!! From there... her revenge step by step was good, her clever planning .. too smart !! But during those times, if you impersonate the punishment was death... isnt it..?? Then Wanning who kills and slap around whoever she doesn't like, insults and humiliates.... but she did not do anything ..in Ep 32 when she invited Jiang Li.. home for the first time... In fact she let Jiangli shout back at her... actually i was scared somethin bad will happen....
I must say.. I thoroughly enjoyed... every episode was so great.. then expectation of the ending was set way toooo high maybe... thats why... i felt... all over without any fireworks.. !!!
Wang Xing Yue.. voice was his best asset in this drama...what a drawl !! and his fan...flicking actions!!

Character "Shen YuRong" is an enigma, I have seen him swearing to take down all corrupt people at his father's deathbed. What action of the Princess terrorized him to kill Jiang Li, who he really loved and they were so happy together. But he lost his peace, his love, his dignity by that... become such a groveling slave...! I think till Ep 32 he was trying to protect Jiang Li, he hates the Princess. But now he is changing, I dont think he can take Jiang Li being taken by Duke Su....
Liang YongQi, the actor did an outstanding job... I am seeing him for the first time..in this drama... the character Yurong, Wonder what he is going to do .....next!

Story of a daughter, whose father did everything (bad and good) just so she will live happily. Good things are the education, good traits.. encouragement.. and all the money... BAd thing is for being there for her since her mom died... he made someone else take the responsibility when things fell apart... without feeling any pangs....
Now Jiang Hu is a smart girl once she set her mind she go all out to achieve results... She did it not for money but to make her fathers company running after he died...
why did things fell apart between Xu Si... b'coz she trusted only him with her whole heart after her father died... and He loved her with his whole heart.. now he was never 100% sure about her.. bcoz anything go bad she will beak loose and go... this fear made him not to tell her in time... Best scene was his mothers conversation with him asking are you waiting for the right opportunity to tell her... ?? in ep 31. She gives some good advice..
Lousiest character in the drama for me.. was the SFL, where as YangJian was such strong friend... such a reliable person, but madly in love... I never liked that aunt, her father's assistant... I felt she never said anything productive in her conversations...
Uncle was a factory worker.. with diff thinking... so I do forgive him....! Miles Wei.. character was not good... Very mean, bcoz whatever he did the person who paid the price was Jiang Hu....!!!
Seriously!!!! Only thing which i was not happy was the ending... not enough for all the anxi and agony they had all the time they were separated...
