I have just started this for Vin Zhang after "Here we Meet Again" ... I think the FL is Melodrama.... nothing natural in her acting... so much of baby talks... for PhD holder...!

Qi Heng first was forced to marry Princess Jiacheng, but she was executed along with her family. Later he married Shen Hezhen.

Actually this drama needs few watches to fully understand esp if you are following English subtitles...! The conversations are sooo very important. Its mainly about the life of Minglan and her siblings, people around her.. such complex characters...
Also romance takes a side step here, with ML and FL came across at various occasions and influenced each other positively but no romance till he proposes after some 38 episodes.. I think..
At first watch, I was annoyed with Minglan at various occasions... but after few watches you understand how she is trained to study a person or a circumstances calmly without reacting, and just survive keeping a low profile... Till she gets married, and her husband gave her the freedom to live the way she wants to live without restrain, which made her confident to do things bravely... without fear...!

Episode 65, 19:00 to 21.40, The conversation Minglan has with her father... my God.. so intense so emotional, so profound... I repeated till I read every line few times

I have started BOR, I find Fiction Guo very versatile, don't know if you have seen SuYu... jeez he is such a crazy Narcissist in that... the drama will test your patience... but his acting was amazing..!
Finished "Here we meet Again", yes I agree Janice Wu was really good in this one. I do feel Vin Zhang is very underrated .. somehow miss the recognition he deserve.
TTEOTM yes obviously for Luo Yunxi and BaiLu... but feel its extreme sadism... the ML is tortured from the childhood till the end... Poor fellow but I enjoyed him in his demon version.... !!
I watch only Chinese dramas, even that I don't get to finish half I have started..
Heard good things about Youth memories, will give that a try...

I start most dramas as per the rating (this one slipped after I started) or comments or reviews in MDL.. sometimes even if people batter it black and blue I don't mind giving it a chance.. but if I am putting it off easily and watching something else... that means, its not holding my interest too much and this one kept me going till ep 8, then I had to sleep (lol), will continue once I am up and about..
Initially I was confused when she said she was with the ML for 3 years bcoz of her friends heart... heart may be inside but u are seeing another person. 3yrs is too long to suffer, unless u fall for the guy... but refuse to admit.. (btw from all you know this may not be his heart at all...lol!). But when he said instead of living in past to come out... I feel it can be she felt guilty in some way.. or something..
Another thing is a person with heart surgery or something... has to do a lot of restrictions in life at least till he become ok... he ran miles from the hospital and eating all kind of stuff. Still something is holding my interest, maybe knowing the other guy might be alive.. and to know where and what happened is whats keeping me on....
I watch drama's for the story, beautiful China locations, and acting...
So which all dramas are you currently watching....

I am so confused at the way it started and where it is now.... I think they could have presented this in a better way... and then the story would have been really good.
I have watched till ep 8.

I have lost count of the time I have seen this drama, and every time I discover some little thing I have missed.. admire the people who created this, so many actors from child actors to the older version... every minute detail is so well done.
I think the only loose end I feel is the maid of Lin got away, she was the instigator of all calamities.. to her last scene...!

This is my one "Go to Drama: if other dramas disappoints.
Yes me too sometimes watch parts.. then I really admired the child actors performance, so another time i start at the beginning... my God wonder how they managed them. I have seen the BTS of them... but since there was no eng sub.. couldn't understand...

ha! In Su Yu, he is such a looney toon, he portrayed it sooo amazingly. I kept watching his crazy antics... lol!
Somehow here he is a bit disconnected so far... Hopefully his part will get better once he regained his memory here... !

I started watchin this while waitin for other drama episodes to be released, and I kept watching and reached ep 11 now, seeing Ju Jing Yi after a long time, and Fiction Guo I found to be such a versatile actor.. so tried watching most of his dramas.... esp after seeing him acting the hilarious Narcissist, so full of himself in "Su Yu" .. sheesh! he was soooo good in that... then the complete op in Growing pain.... Hope he will get the appreciation he deserve..!

I heard Ju Jing Yi did the OST, beautiful voice... !

So far I am enjoyin, its a Fantasy drama, so far I sat and watched every episode released, without getting bored and I am lookin forward to the rest of ep.
Ju JingYi I am seeing after a long time... I have seen most of Fiction Guo s most dramas I've watched, such a versatile actor and you hardly hear his name .. If you see Su Yu, he is pompous, Funniest Narcissistic. in Growing Pain is an adorable dork, then there is Accidently in Love.

While waiting for the episodes to be released I have started "Beauty of Resilience" with Fiction Guo and Ju JingYi... I reached ep7 already.... you can watch it on

Two annoying characters... who can make anyone's blood boil... one is Li Chi and the other one is the neighbor Luo Dong... Everytime they open their mouth they spoil the other persons peace of mind....
Then of course Li Qin... this one is annoying in every drama I have seen her... esp in Minglan.... !! This is the first time I am seeing her in a modern drama... I wondered why cant anyone give her a good role...! maybe she is too good as a conniving evil person...lol!
Just finished ep22 my God... big time annoyance...! hope we will get a great 23.

I love the friends of ML in this drama, they are sooo helpful through out... standing strongly by him. At least so far... the scene of them running around helping with the baby... was very heart warming to see

episode 20

Just finished ep 20, that was very intense, great episode. this drama maybe slow burn for all, but there is so much emotion involved... Both of them are brilliant...!
His voice is too good!

Me too really enjoying this... really liked their chemistry...

Ok... I have managed to reach Prince Ning "wise" words to ML in Ep15... man, he is such a relief....! feels soo good...ROFL...! Wulang is the villain in Sword and the brocade...! he is so good here..

I can understand why this drama is underrated Physical abuse/humiliation is never a pleasure to watch whether its a man or woman, especially when the person at the receiving end is weak... !
I read after 12 episode things will change... but the part of being so humiliated, by your wife is difficult to take...
Can you imagine if it was the ML doing this instead of FL..... !

oh yes... ! thank you so much! I was raking my brain trying to place her in the drama. Currently I am watching her "Lady in the Butcher shop" and saw its mentioned she was in SoM...!
