I really want to see Love like Galaxy, since its rated so high, so I will give it a go. Dream of Splendor was really a dream drama... what acting by both Main leads...! I am currently watching her "meet yourself" .
I don't watch much comedy dramas, I prefer more serious... The Rise of Phoenixes was one of my favorite.. Ever Night for choregraphed fights, same applies to Princess agents... but when it comes to love.. preferred Legend of Fei.. simple and less complicated... and for drama, Story of Minglan.. That covers most genre. But with so many dramas comes out.. I go with the MDL ratings.. to test it out.. or some actors whose acting I prefer

Totally agree with you here, I was stunned when I heard the child's reply, he is too young to reason and rationalize... ! He grew up with father for 6 years and will he just leave like that.

Only thing is.. in a court of law they can give custody to the parent the child prefers... I think..!! and here since the kid said so... ML didnt go for any legal action..... I can understand if he was mature.. then he might think maybe she had some problem...
I have only watched till 21 and I am still finding it diff not seeing the kid... he was an amazing actor.. at such a tender age... cute fellow.

I have to hide my reply... otherwise the whole Cdrama fans will be fighting... The reason I didn't see that is, I am not a Zhao Lu Si fan, bcoz every drama I tried to see her, she is kinda shriek in high pitch.. too noisy, which is irritating for me... like The romance of the Tiger and Rose.. which I couldn't complete till now.. and the other Dating in the kitchen.. eventhough i really like the actor Lin Yushen in that...
also I didn't watch even Love like galaxy... again Wu Lei is another amazing actor I would like to watch...

So far...
I find a female lead crazy mad about the ML to the extent of stalking him at every turn and when his girlfriend left him, she took over saying I will take care of you. All this without any encouragement from the ML... then his mother happens to see her and told the ML she is worth marrying bcoz she loves you deeply. So he give it a go, She had too much expectations... too much comparisons... Got married, but after marriage, she expected him to change or she wanted to change him to what she wants him to be.
I feel she is toooo smothering...
On the other hand the ML, is very rigid in his way, he really doesn't understand what the FL wants... or doesn't return the love as she expected... he loves her in his ways... he wants her to be smart and strong and stand on her feet, not too clingy and dependent...

finally both are miserable...
the food throwing incident the patient he took care died during surgery, .. which was very depressing and he couldn't bring himself to eat and went home, but at the same time he didn't want FL to see he waster her food... since that will make her feel miserable... that's his assumption..
The main reason is LACK OF COMMUNICATION....
But she sees it and feel devastated...
AGain... its all on our or their interpretations.

After they meet again, He is asking her once why did we divorce... ? So I wondered about that question, FL asked for divorce and he gave... and she really longed for him to tell her don't go... but he never stopped her...

but Clear thing is he couldn't love her the way she wants him to love... neither could he express himself...
Right now I am on episode 21... and I cannot understand, why she is angry he arranged the proposal scenario through an app. I would think... at least he made an effort....!

I am a bit puzzled now... like.. what is happening...? He obviously love her.... otherwise there is no question of jealousy....!!

Such a cute little fellow, very good acting and smile can melt your heart...!

Few of your points, from MY understanding is.....

Lianshen is the poison lady's name in Youtube subs... in Viki its "Pitiful Clam" ,
Viki has very mouthful names for a lot other things tooo like
Ocean Sky for "Hai Tian Yi Se"
Commander for "Pillar of State"...

I don't think the old monk who took care of Xie Yun knew of Lizeng to help him... Xie Yun was saved by an eunuch named Wang... and were met the monks on the way ... He was poisoned much later during the war... or something like that...

I don't think A'fei learned the flouring palm thingie from Madam Duan... she transferred the energy into A'fei.. so she can learn... when she got better...

Chuchu's brother was one loose end left in the drama I feel.. no discussion of where he is or anything...

For me... Editing and few place the shaky cameras were the problem...
Story and acting esp of the two main leads were really apt for the story...

Mind you... LiYing's first drama after her delivery... (months) naturally you will look tired..

Thanks I will give it a go, was contemplating to watch or not.

For me this was my first ever Cdrama, so everything was new.. even his voice.. so it did sound apt for his role. But now maybe diff since I have seen his other dramas..

Thank you so much, for this detailed info. I have been following up on this issue but being Intl fan who doesn't know the language its very difficult to know. I always hoped that, somehow eventually this issue will be sorted out and they will bring out Season 2.

During the Covid pandemic lock down just by chance I happened to see a clip of the scene where "Xinger doing the test for YWYs chambermaid" with English's subtitles. I was pretty curious/ interested and searched for the origin of that and came across this drama Princess Agents in Youtube.

I binged all 58 episodes (took my mind off covid and lock down) and was so impressed with this tremendous creation. The story, the actors, the acting, cinematography, the locations, the setting, costumes... all so amazing, captivating. I realized the ending was not apt, since there are so many loose ends.. I searched for info on this... and came across the book and its English translation.. very difficult to read b'coz so many characters and names which went right over my head... the adaptation is much better... but I was happy there is rainbow at the end of the tunnel.. I watched it again few times.. till I I couldn't anymore. But searched for similar stories.. and started my trip in to this Chinese drama world.

I thought this and "Stand by Me" were done around same time... bcoz in that TV show they ask Cheng Yi to name the singer.. he said straight away its YuXi.. he knows bcoz we just did two dramas together... Thats 2020... whatever happened to this one's release.. so many people are looking forward to this.

Tian Xi Wei, I saw her first in "Lovely Us" the drama was too good. Then be my cat, funny romcom, Ms. Cupid in Love, the main leads looked awesome together.. Then New Life Begins, the whole drama was good. but her best drama IMO is still "Lovely Us".

I think her next drama is coming out also this month, Wrong Carriage, Right Groom...

Watching Ou Hao doing a brilliant job as Tong Xiao Qi , I wonder if it went as planned initially how WY would do this part... !

I am on Episode 12 and was watching the conversation between Dr. Su and Xu Banxia, its soo profound. How Simply with no drama, no make up, She delivers such lines of truth without hurting his feelings. I was amazed. What acting..! cant get enough of this...!
btw she looked gorgeous with her hair falling around the face and no make up look...

I liked the way every twist and turns resulted positively... and amazed the story didn't change Hao Jin to evil... inf act her part is really good, even looks handsome as a boy...! a very positive drama so far.
