started watching this drama cause I saw an edit about his back tattoo scene. first few episodes I was like oh…
I commented on it π₯² I felt uncomfortable too... Well we viewers know since ep 2 that they weren't blood related. But she didn't know, so I always felt weird inside whenever he tried to make a move on her--like whatt??? "Please let the truth about his fake situation revealed soon" was what I screamed inside π²π²π²
Episode 4. So they are after all blood siblings because one parent? HELP. I think I got lost.
Short answer, no, but it's spoiler for later episode... Tbh I felt troubled a little whenever fake Hongrang tried to kiss his 'sister' Jaeyi... On the eyes of the viewers, well we already know they aren't blood-related. But Jaeyi still thinks they are, so it's kinda weird when they ππ₯²
Ok, this series is a solid 10 to me, except for the ending it's 9.5 π
First of all, the detail of the plot, the genre... If you want a mix of drama, mystery, thriller (gore!!!), suspense, (a little) fantasy, action, horror, and romance... THIS IS THE DRAMA FOR YOU! It's like a complete package of all genre π₯Ή
Second, QUALITY. Yas, definitely! The cinematography is top notch. How it supports the eerieness, the suspense, the seduction, and everything... Also, thirdly the OST supporting all of them. The dark OST heightened the atmosphere when it's necessary. If you notice the OST becomes 'lighter' in the later episodes toward the resolution.
Lastly, the acting πππ«΅π» You people are amazing actors!!!
Jaewook's sword acting is π₯π₯π₯
I want to highlight especially Jo Bo Ah. People had been mocked her acting for years, saying she lacks emotion, etc...
Well I've been putting trust on her since a long time. Yes tbh I dropped most of her drama (not watching till the last ep), but whenever I did that, I believed it's because of the script, not because of her acting.
I like it how when their family have a dinner together at home (at the loach soup scene, remember), the sister said that their baby nickname is "Forever/Yeongwon (derived from JuYeong and SeungWon)"...
Meanwhile at the opposite table, there sit the backstreet in-laws YiYeong and DoWon... Won't they together make a "Yeongwon" too... Are they going to be together forever too?!!! π
I like details like this in dramas, couldn't help but notice...
Also, I'm curious what would their colleagues think when finding out about their relationship haha.
Yes... She's the senior of Sanghyun the anesthesiologist. Right, it seems that her name isn't introduced yet. Perhaps very minor role or simply yet introduced... Just call her "female anesthesiologist".
I don't know if she has personal relationship with dr. Myung Eun Won, but it seemed like she's fed hoax by Myung after O Yi Yeong falsely ordered surgery room because Myung ordered her to be "quick 'cuz it's an emergency", even though it's not.
Well Sanghyun got mad at her at first, right? And so did a lot of people because the rumour had spread that she's selfish etc. Especially that female anesthesiologist.
But after Sanghyun learned the real situation from Jay, he apologized to her. Then, that female anesthesiologist apologized too...
Guess it all started from Myung Eun Won. She's a two-faced b*tch! Nice on the facade, but who knows what she thought inside.
The fraternal twin med students right?! Realtime timeline, they should've been interns or even residents by now!
However the actors playing are already huge, bet they don't want to play minor roles anymore. Bae Hyunseung was great in Our Blues and Never Give Up! π€
can someone explain the myeong eun won character to me people have been saying that she ran away in her residence…
Ohh plus she moved from Songdo Yulje (Hospital Playlist set) to Jongno branch to become a prof right? Because it seems that her career stuck at Songdo branch (for whatever reason)...

I did rewatch Hospital Playlist 1 up to ep 10 just to find the background of Myung Eun Won. I forgot at what ep, but she didn't help Chu Minha alot when they're super busy with many patients waiting, and instead she's chatting with a patient's guardian talking about her personal experience.
It seems that Myung wanted to be likeable, but neglects the most important part of her duty... And Chu Minha had been covering those neglected duties...
That's as far as I know, but there are two more eps + Hospital Playlist 2 that I haven't rewatch yet.
Romance in the midst of war is, after all, bittersweet.

This drama proves those comments wrong! π

But guest role, perhaps...?
