Wow.. after watching many dramas and all kind of being a let-down, I decided to watch this and this was truly an amazing drama. This drama was beautiful and it goes way beyond just fighting bullies. It's about friendship, revenge, jealousy, guilt, trauma and so on. I highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of watching it.
Still haven't watched ep 13, but ngl this drama turned out to be quite bad and the only thing that saves it is ML. I know a lot of dramas have unlikeable SML, but if I hate them so much that I'm skipping all their scenes, which is literally half the drama then what's the point ?
As much as I hated the ML and sad that it ended the way it did I won't lie and say this is a bad kdrama. Firstly, this is the first kdrama I ever watched and the kdrama that got me into watching kdramas. Not only is the cinematography great, but it's just so damn enterntaining. The chemistry was off the charts and the way everything was shot was interesting and kept me intrigued. I would honestly say that this is a very realistic reflection on how a lot of relationships are nowadays. If you're on the fence about watching this, then I would say to watch it, but just know that this isn't a romance story that you will be rooting for.
Damn.. Really disappointed with the direction the writers are going with the SML. In the beginning he was arrogant and cocky, but still had massive potential for a redemption arc. Episode 7 just made him so incredibly unlikeable. They had such a good chance at potentially making the SML turn into the FL's best friend or smt.
I have a question. I'm someone who doesn't really enjoy historical dramas, just a person preference thing, but everyone raves about this kdrama. Would this be a good kdrama to watch for someone who doesn't like historical dramas? Maybe someone who has watched it and also feels the same way about historical kdramas can give me their input.
I like the SML, but I also don't... I feel like he has a lot of potential to be a good guy. He's already shown us that he is sweet and caring, but then he goes on and treats relationships as very transactional. It's like he treats the women he actually cares for nicely, but women who don't matter to him are just tools for him to use. I don't like that and it's kind of confusing?? Like I said, I think he has potential and the reason I feel kind of passionate about this is because I hate how a lot of SML nowadays are just rude and terrible people. I wish there were more kdramas where both male leads were actually good people. This is a reason I hate love triangles; most of the time they just waste your time. Love triangles are only done well when it's not easy to tell who the FL is going to end up with because both options are good, in my opinion. Do I love him? No. Do I hate him? No. I actually think he treats the FL really nicely (well up until episode 6 when he doesn't respect her boundaries) and he seems to care for her, but it's every other girl he dates that he treats like crap. I HATE that!
Only on ep 5, but this drama feels like True Beauty all over because I love both the ML and the SML so much 🥲 It's obvious who FL is going to end up with, but I hope SML can at least get a happy ending too
