Hmm not to sound rude but there are actually many kdramas atm that are better than this drama tbh and I'm saying…
It's almost like.. it's their opinion! OMG shocking ik right? When they say it's the best drama atm, it's quite clearly they're talking about they think. Best is very subjective. There's no need to be like "actually ur wrong bc it's not the best bc x drama is airing right now" like... We all have different tastes. Let people enjoy what they want.
Easily one of the best kdramas I've watched in a long time. This is a heavy story though so if you're expecting an easy kdrama to binge watch, this is not it. But nevertheless, I highly recommend this kdrama!
I like the story, but the acting is okay. Joy is a very jarring actress; she excels in the fun, happy scenes, but gets very tense and awkward in scenes that involve tension or just sad scenes in general. I read a lot of comments saying they don't like the second ML, but I actually like him 🤷♀️ He's cute and seems really sweet and I personally wouldn't consider him annoying. I much prefer dramas where both the MLs are actually good options.
You're not wrong but I'm sure many viewers are aware that his behaviour wouldn't be acceptable and even off-putting…
Yeah I'm sure there's a lot of people who are aware that this isn't right in real life, but just reading the replies to my critique proves how harmful these relationships are. Like I said, I'm sure there's a lot of people who can differentiate between fictional and real life, but there's also a lot of people too and idolizing this kind of behaviour perpetuates the idea that this type of behaviour is okay, especially in demographics that are more naive. I'm looking to have an open, educational and informed discussion about this, but instead I have people replying to my comment saying "but have you seen his abs?🥺" How is this productive at all? This kind of behaviour is exactly what is harmful and is exactly what I'm trying to discuss. I just don't think it's okay to let abusive behaviours be praised when the man is attractive. It's a big reason why victims of domestic abuse are never taken seriously, or not taken seriously enough.
I'm not that far into watching this, but genuine question... I agree the actor playing ML is hot, but how come no one else is talking about how aggressive his behaviour is? I'm sure I'll get a lot of hate for this, but some of the scenes are so gross and would not be tolerated if the ML was either 1) ugly or 2) if this drama wasn't being painted as a romance drama. Both characters seem to be extremely toxic for each other, but mostly the ML because he physically restraints the FL, leaves physical marks on her (like leaving her wrist red). Like I am genuinely curious... how is this okay? Why do people find this to be attractive? I love the enemies to lovers trope just as much as anyone else, but this drama has taken the enemies part way too far. To me, he is really abusive and I don't really think his behaviour is justified because he has "good intentions".
This show is very boring, barely anything happens. I'm considering dropping it. And I don't care about sob stories…
You should drop it then. It's obvious this isn't for you. This is boring to you because this is a character driven story, and if you don't even like the characters, then ofc you're not going to like this.
Imo, yes there is alot of romance! It mostly begins in episode 4.
Well there's only 6 episodes so I can't really say for sure. From ep1-ep4, I wouldn't say it takes a big part, but around ep4-ep6, then it becomes a big part of it. But I wouldn't say it's the focus of the drama; there's other things that are more focused on. For example, in episode 6, we only had 2 scenes hinting at romance.
I'm gonna say it again; the romance is SOOO good. I know the main focus of the drama isn't the romance, but if you're like me and love romance, this is such a well done romance story so far. The main characters are so cute together. The tension and chemistry is amazing.
I know this drama isn't mainly focused on romance, but I am loving the romance so far. I cannot get enough of how cute they are together. The bickering, the fact he's literally a sweetheart deep down behind his tough guy act and the FL, who is kind, funny and not afraid to be herself. I can't wait to see how their relationship develops(: The chemistry in episode 4 is just **chefs kiss**
