I really liked "A River Runs Through It". It's a Chinese drama. There's less romance, but it's a very similar vibe; a group of friends. I LOVED that drama.
How is the 2nd pairings? Do they have a decent amount of scenes?
Yes! And it's even better because you love every single characters. I find some dramas have second leads that I'm not interested in whatsoever, so their scenes are always boring, but not for 25, 21!
Okay buddies, i already got spoiled that it isn't happy ending. I haven't watched last four episodes so please…
Just watch all them. The ending is beautiful. Just because it's a sad ending doesn't mean it's not a beautiful ending. We knew from the beginning they weren't going to be together.
It wasn't so much that it was a sad ending, it's just that it was a bad ending. It was confusing and left holes.
It was only confusing because we didn't have the last diary till the very last bit. Minchae was looking online for what happened and that's why the timeline became scattered. It makes sense.
Watch it. People are upset at the ending because it's not the happy fairytale they wanted. It's still a beautiful…
I personally disagree. There were a lot of questions unanswered, I agree, but that's because 1) They don't matter. Who is Heedo's husband now? Who is Minchae's father? It doesn't matter. It's not relevant because the story has always been about Heedo and Yijin. Not Heedo and her current boyfriend. This is the story of her first love. 2) This is through the perspective of Minchae reading Heedo's diary. Even Minchae doesn't know all the answers. We have to keep in mind that even Minchae was looking for answers; she Googled interviews and things to find out what happened; that's when we as the viewers start to to get confused because the story starts being out of order. Because Minchae doesn't have the diary anymore. Lastly, sometimes breakups are like that. We don't always get closure on everything. Will we know exactly why Heedo named her workshop after 25, 21? No, but that's okay. Sometimes we just have to accept that sometimes we won't get closure or answers to all questions, especially when it's about something so intricate as love.
eugh these comments i do not wanna watch the last ep at all
Watch it. People are upset at the ending because it's not the happy fairytale they wanted. It's still a beautiful story. I have never laughed, cried and smiled so much while watching a drama like I did with 25, 21.
Why are people hating on the ending so much? I agree some things could've done better, but I see people hating this drama solely because it had a sad ending. It's almost like the message went right over their head.
So, she has some kind of disease or trauma or what not, doesn't really remember things. Maybe he and she do get…
I don't think so tbh! I would personally be very disappointed in that ending): Plus she clearly still remembers Yijin. I think it was just sending the message to live in the moment. Sometimes we experience amazing things, we could be so happy, but years from now we will not remember then & that's why we should just enjoy every moment in the present.
samee but i am very afraid of what future holds. regardless, this was the best show i've watched in years.
Same, I feel that. I will say that I think it's really cool how this drama has subtly sent the message of "living & enjoying the moment" and I feel like in a way I am doing that. I know a lot of us are expecting a sad ending, but even despite that, I don't care because I smile and laugh throughout the entire show without thinking about the ending, because it's not relevant in that moment. Ahh I hope that made sense, but what I'm saying is: no matter what the ending is, this show is beautiful, the story, friendships, love stories etc are all so beautiful & I'm enjoying just living in the moment with the characters.
It's official. Episode 10 has officially sealed the deal. Twenty-Five Twenty-One is my favourite kdrama I've ever watched.. and may I even dare say my favourite show ever? 👀
Is there comedy in this series? How heavy is the drama?
It's not heavy per say, but there are moments where the characters experience a lot of hardships. As for the comedy, there is tons of that! It's so funny. I love this drama (:
