I think he does not have problem with Shin Geumhui or Shin Hari herself, but the problem is that harabeoji doesn't know what exactly happened between them. All he probably thinks is that Shin Hari went on the blind date to try to seduce (while pretending to be rich too) the rich boss aka Taemu. I don't think work goes before love and family. I gave my own job in South Korea away for health reasons...and I do regret it sometimes, but life goes on and there are other job opportunities. I understand that the time during IMF crisis and after must have been hard and Yijin has to take care of his family too, to bring them together again. But he can't get everything, he has to make choices like he did in the last episode.

We saw that Heedo's Mom was not really sorry for choosing her career. She never showed such remorse as Yijin did.
I'm lowkey very disappointed in Baek Yijin. The moment he chose his career over his love and friends, I kind of stopped shipping him with Heedo. Heedo deserves better...but then again, the ending gave it away that he regretted his decision so much. Unlike Heedo's Mom who was in a similar situation before. She was not really sorry. Yijin is probably feeling so guilty, the way he was crying was heartbreaking...so he kinda deserves another chance. I hope next time he chooses Heedo and their friends over his career.

Before this drama I was not a big fan of Ahn Hyo Seop. One of my favourite female actors is Park Bo Young. So I watched their drama Abyss and did not really like it that much. But here I realized that it was not really because of their acting or anything, the story of the drama (Abyss) was just not as good as this one. Now I'm in love with Taemu aka Ahn Hyo Seop. ❤️ And Kim Sejeong as well! Their chemistry makes my heart flutter. 🥰 Best drama of 2022, can't wait for today's episode!
