Honestly Dodosol and Strong woman Do Bong Soon are the best and cutest kdramas ever made. I will be rewatching these two dramas forever. Hahah already rewatching SWDBS for the 4th time and rewatched many Dodosol episodes.

I'm team Han Jipyeong, because I really liked the actor already before this drama. NJH is a great actor too, but if I had to choose from them, I would choose KSH. He has such an interesting and very expressive facial expressions. His expressions can be very comical and sad...there is some kind of melancholy and comedy in this acting and that's why I think he is often offered roles that fit him in those areas. If the dramaland didn't continuously evolve, I think he would easily fit the already a little bit old style tsundere type of male lead roles. But I guess nowadays many of us want to see kinder male leads like Dodosol's Jun or here Nam Dosan. Meanwhile people also want to see strong female leads like It's okay to not be okay and Hotel del luna. However, I still hope KSH will be getting lots of male lead roles after this role. He is such a great actor and I wish his role would get some kind of happy ending in this drama. The new twist with his character made me so sad...I hope it's misunderstanding and they don't make Jipyeong suffer. :(

Maybe the people who love this show are not the loudest on this comment section. I love this drama and gave it a very high rating. Dodosol and this one are definitely the best ongoing dramas at the moment.

Even after Saturday's episode, are you sure he doesn't have any feelings for Dalmi? I think it has now become even clearer that she impacted him strongly with those letters in the past and even now continues to have a strong impact on him. He clearly has feelings for her, but keeps denying it. I'm not sure why. Maybe he feels like it's ridiculous to like her when she doesn't even know that he is the "original" Nam Dosan. But it seems like soon he will stop denying his feelings.

Do you remember all of your past crushes' names? I don't, but if I would meet any of them again many many years later, I probably could start to have those feelings again that I had in the past. I would get reminded of the old time that I had forgotten. When you cannot see someone for a long long time, you start to forget about them, but if you encounter them again, your feelings may start to grow again. It has happened to me actually before, so I do believe it could happen. I don't see what is so ridiculous here. Also Jipyung probably saw how gorgeous Dalmi has became over the years. Also she is so smart despite of not being able to go to university. He also feels pity towards her for various reasons and he thinks of grandma like as his family member, so his feelings for Dalmi are probably not clear. It may not be love, but I'm pretty sure he does have a crush on her, even if he has not admitted that to himself yet.

I think he gifted everything else except for the piano. Piano was probably gifted by someone who thought it would be too dangerous for Rara to play piano at night outside. I think there is still possibility that dodosol is either grandpa, Mr. Cha or Jun.

I don't think he wanted her to succeed, because he wanted her to be only his. He even got jealous coz of Jaemin taking his time. The way I see it, he didn't want Rara to teach anyone else.

Have you heard of indirect communication? Everything you have been implying here is basically that we should take everything literally word by word. But you see this is not how real life works either. Dramas don't work like this either. Koreans tend to put a high value on reading between the lines. Koreans often don't like direct communication and won't be so "honest" with their feelings. But it's not about lying, the indirectness is a cultural thing. If you know Korean you might have heard people even in dramas saying 눈치 없어 (nunchi eobseo) which basically means that you cannot read the situation/you cannot take the hints. I'm not trying to offend you either, I just want to make a point here that what we literally hear in the drama is not all there is to it. That's why I think people here making assumptions of what really happened might not be the "wrong" way either.

I think he said that because they met in Seoul and coz he is an obsessed weirdo as he is, he just thought Rara came to that town to meet him. I might be wrong, but it kind of feels like there is something more behind dodosol and maybe we will find it out later on. Because if he is dodosol, that name itself doesn't hold any meaning. I don't think that stalker dude can play piano either.

I also watched ep 10, but I didn't interpret it like it was him, what made you think it was him? :O
