as the water here symbolizes a lot and the drama has this post-apocalytic vibe overall, I guess it has something…
That's just how I see it. I took the silver ball as Earth. It gives him water (life, food/hydration) but at the same time, there is death (the button also causes explosion: this kind of death is man-made like wars, crimes, or environmental problems caused by humans). And so in the end, he realized that this water can also be used to purify himself before his execution (or before the world collapses, in other point of view).
Wow … ep 19 ep 20….What a futuristic prediction and the message … that too written in 1959… Can someone…
as the water here symbolizes a lot and the drama has this post-apocalytic vibe overall, I guess it has something to do with cleansing oneself before the destruction...
Thanks for this throwback! I've seen all those kdramas and some 90s jdoramas on tv back then. I'm actually re-watching a few k-oldies lately just so I can log them here ^^
I enjoyed this one a lot! The story is well-paced and never boring, and the cast did a great job especially the young actors. It's kind of uplifting and interesting not just for youth. Maybe the focus was more on ML but I still find him a good support for the students.
Another feel good, travel show that I enjoyed a lot. It reminds me a bit of Tabiya Okaeri, only this one is more on trains & rarely visited stations. It also features "ekiben" or railway bentos, tourist spots and their historic past. The female lead is so brave not just for wandering alone in deserted areas or shaky bridge(!), but also going to the platform at night with no people around. The ending song is quite sentimental, as well as the background in Ep.3 that sounds familiar.
Finally a movie of Nana that I like from what I've seen so far. This was done well despite the common theme. Great acting from the cast & pleasant cinematography. Plus that song in the end, you know it's Radwimps the moment it played!
The movie has its moments and I especially like the ending. That scene of Maki in the rooftop could've been prevented if they hadn't just stared at it.
I like half of the series ^^ 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 18-20
how 'bout you?
