does anyone have any recommendations like this one?
Blossom is from the same director, it's not very similar, character or plot wise but it's really good. The Legend of Female General is about a strong military couple, and it's also good. Are You The One has domestic, cozy vibe, at least first half, and also good one.
wrapping up the show now and I get why people hate on the sister but I honestly think she's fine the way she is.…
Also, regarding the Jinxiu siblings, the emperor wanted to kill Jingshi since they were young, always claiming to his mother that Jingshi is not to be trusted and he will betray them. His mother disregarded those claims as paranoid and as an emperors hatred toward his step brother. In the end, the emperor was proven right. And just an observation, in the beginning, the character emperor was presented to us as an insane and tyrannical ruler, while Jingshi seemed as a calm and righteous person. In the end, those two actually were revealed as the opposite of what they were in the beginning.

She was my favourite character at the end of the drama. People forget she was very young and naive, grew up sheltered, loved by everyone and without a real experience with a real world. She probably thought Xia Jingshi will love her the way her family loved her because she didn't know there is an another option. Unfortunately, after leaving Susha, she got her reality check. Her hate later is an equivalent to her love she had for Xia Jingshi and teaming with an emperor was a choice she reluctantly had to make to survive in the palace and get revenge for her father and brother. Imo she is a very well written character and her character development was honestly one of the most interesting stories in the drama.
I was loving her and emperors relationship and was hoping they will survive and end up ruling the kingdom together, but yeah I think writers kinda lead us to that hoping just to crush it in the end.
I'm shocked at how much I've started rooting for Feng Xiyang once she was in Jinxiu lol. I started really sympathizing…
I loved her character development soo much and I loved her relationship with the Xia Jingyan (even though it was toxic). I was rooting for them so much T_T
u guys seem to forget that the two teens in the show are supposed to be teenager i.e don't know how to handle…
Agree! People who dislike them forgot what it's like to be a teenager or themselves are the one, so they don't have a capability to get out of their head (yet!). Also, as a person who works with teenagers, I assure you, most of them use chatgpt for basically inquiring every little thing, so imo that scene was a spot on!

It's a rom com, not very slice of life drama, it doesn't have much of a small town vibe (for now) and the side characters are not interesting like in HCC (for now, it's too early to say how it will develop). But it's lighthearted and first 2 eps are really fun. Besides setting being at the seaside town, I wouldn't say it's similar to HCC.
am i the only one who felt annoyed by the se-jin character? like why would u blame someone else just because the…
I agree, and it's a shame writers did that to a character because in manhwa she is such a nice person. She and FL have a great relationship as a teacher and a student, I really hope they will keep it in a drama.
So what's FL story? What about the dream in the beginning? Something like, she dated someone, that guy was married,…
The drama changed some stuff from manhwa, but in manhwa somebody photoshoped photos of her with a married man and it turned into a scandal. She left Seoul and ended in a school that she works now. Manhwa is still ongoing but apparently for now she is falsely accused of being a mistress.
Yes it's a sleeve but the reason he wears is different in the drama. In the Manwha he wears it cause of burn scars.…
I agree with you. I think the tattoo was there to enhance the prejudices about him as a dangerous man and a bad guy. And being it fake, it kinda symbolizes that those rumors about him are also fake.

(I am not excusing him in any way, I'm just saying, we don't know will this be canceled or delayed or not!)
