So I searched it and doesn't have to be. CPR techniques were know even in ancient Egypt and ancient China engaged in cultural and goods exchanges with various parts of Europe, Africa and Asia (ex. Silk Road), so it is possible that Yu Qian is from one of those parts of the world, or she visited it.But honestly, time travel would be so cool :)

I agree, actors and director made a wonderful job! And the director made a choice to depict their story as a dark romance in opposition of an abuse story, which in it's reality it actually is.

can I watch s2 without s1 i can't watch s1 because of kim saeron😭
End of the season 1 concluded all of the events of it and it has a definitive ending and, judging from the plot summary, season 2 will have a different plot. So, I guess it will be possible to watch it without seeing season 1. But I have to say, you will miss character development and relationships from season 1 that will probably be important in season 2.

From this week on, they will releasing only one ep per day. Yesterday was 24th and today 25th ep.
I wouldn't know but that's usually the way cdramas are aired. Usually they release a couple of last episodes on the same day but I don't know if they'll do that for this drama.
