Can’t praise Park So Yi for her performance enough. Such acting depth for such a young actress. So deserving of a Baeksang at this point. Clearly a cut above the rest.
Episode 8 didn’t actually move the show forward. It felt like a messy tapestry of disjointed filler scenes that didn’t actually convey much. But I’m willing to forgive that and hope the last four episodes will live up to the hype.
Just saw episode 7 and I have to say the other characters are growing on me. I’m even buying into the romance. It’s turning out to be better than expected. But it’s still I-na that steals the show for me.
There are so many wrong and strange things happening in this drama, it’s so easy to dismiss it altogether. But it’s also just like roadkill…as much as you want to turn your eyes away from it, you can’t help but look even when you know it will trigger very unpleasant reactions.
And why does the FL always carry a bag with her even around the house?
The best thing about Japanese dramas is they can sell simple and relatable stories even with weird, sometimes over the top characters. This wasn’t bad at all. And the star of the show - Negi.
There were moments I wanted to skip through episodes because it felt redundant, like the story just kept going around and around. Even with only 30 mins per episode I thought this could have been concluded in 12. Nonetheless I soldiered through. It’s safe to say it was good enough to watch.
I didn’t like this as much as I wanted to. The love story between the main characters felt flat. The other pairings felt forced. The last episode was a waste. The story ended about 10 mins into it and the rest was just one filler after the other.

My guilty pleasure is watching these Japanese “dating” reality TV shows. There’s something so pure about how they go about things. It’s addictive. I like that the people in these shows come off as real, at least most. And the hosts, well, they’re quite entertaining.
I enjoyed this. It pays to have veteran actors that know what they're doing. And even when the characters they have to play are out of the box, they still manage to sell the entire performance.
I also love the not-so-fairy-tale ending. It added a layer of realism to the plot. I love how Japanese dramas don't follow any formula for creating stories, making them more relatable to the viewer.
The final episode was to say the least underwhelming. I still enjoyed it for what it was though it became too cliche towards the end. And once again boxes were ticked for Kdrama musts with this one. Honestly it’s becoming too redundant.
